But that same year marked the arrival of the first gods, who suddenly appeared and began ravaging the world, tearing down great civilizations and crushing those who tried to thrive. These gods did not bring salvation; instead, they ruled the skies, the land, and the oceans with ruthless cruelty, killing anyone who dared to enter their domains. In that fateful year, the world was forever changed. Lands collided, rising into towering mountains and forming diverse terrains. Seas surged, swallowing cities and destroying lives.
