The Forsaken Aether
In the year 1907, in the world of Gaia, every child at the age of 10 receives a soulmate object known as an Aether a living artifact that is directly connected to its owner. Only 40% of these Aethers possess the ability to fight; while they may not be powerful at first, they can be trained to grow stronger and even evolve. The remaining 60% are non-combat Aethers, lacking any fighting capabilities. Among the 40% that are combat-capable, 20% are classified as special Aethers, possessing unique elements or attributes. From that group, 2% are considered legendary Aethers, rare and powerful beyond measure.
Zend, a young boy from a farming family in a small village called Little Wind Village, received an Aether that appeared extremely weak a simple iron needle. Meanwhile, his friends were granted impressive Aethers: a combat gauntlet, a water blade, and other powerful artifacts. At first, Zend felt disappointed and unsure of his Aether's worth. But after a few days, he began to notice something strange about it…
