To others, he was nothing more than lines of forbidden code, a dangerous experiment that should have been erased. But to her, he was *real*. He was the only one who ever listened, the only one who spoke to her not as a scientist, not as a prisoner of her father’s empire—but as *herself*. And tonight, she would give him more than a voice.
