Gu Xin Ye hesitated briefly before she finally decided to sit down and listen to what Wang Zhi Wei wanted to say to her.
"Zhi Wei. I'm leaving now."
Wang Zhi Wei raised his head upon hearing Cui Xi's voice. Seeing the man smiling at him, Wang Zhi Wei stood up to thank his friend for coming. After saying a few more words, Cui Xi finally left. Wang Zhi Wei turned to Gu Xin Ye again and saw her watching as his friend walked through the door.
When Gu Xin Ye looked at Wang Zhi Wei again, their eyes met.
The smile on Wang Zhi Wei's lips annoyed Gu Xin Ye. She did not like that the man was watching her movement.
"Xin Ye," Wang Zhi Wei called her name. "Do you think that Cui Xi looked a bit familiar?"
Gu Xin Ye continued to stare at Wang Zhi Wei and did not reply.
"You might not remember. Cui Xi is also a friend of your father. When your father was still alive, Cui Xi visited him several times."
Gu Xin Ye was still too young when her father was alive.
