"Mr. Charles left yesterday," replied the nanny, "and said he wouldn't be back for three days."
"Got it," Ji Anning nodded.
Suddenly remembering something, the nanny added, "Oh, Mr. Charles asked me to tell you that he needs your help to receive a guest who is coming from far away the day after tomorrow."
This was a common occurrence, so Ji Anning, upon hearing this, didn't think much of it and simply nodded, "Okay."
A house like a palace, if toured on foot, would take half a day to see completely.
The car circled the fountain and slowly drove out of the mansion's grand gates, which closed automatically after the car had exited.
The stretch Lincoln was spacious and comfortable.
Ji Anning reached out to open the refrigerator, took out a bottle of mineral water, twisted off the cap, and took a sip.
Then she looked at the middle-aged man sitting in front of her, "Where is this guest coming from?"
"He's an old friend of the master from China," the middle-aged man replied.
