Kyle watched his people with a calm face, humming an elvish song in his mouth while drinking morning dew from the world tree, which was considered a delicacy.
" Brother, I have received a call for dad. It appears that Xavier's gifted school needs our help because most members are out."
Kyle took the tablet from James's hands, seeing a familiar face in front of him. Xavier waved his hand at him, sitting in his chair with his signature smile and a gentle face.
" Professor Xavier, nice to see you. How may I help you? If you are looking for my father, he has gone out for a mission."
Charles stayed silent for a while, thinking of a solution that could offer him help. His eyes glanced at James, who was pointing at his brother with some sort of gesture, like he was saying he was free.
" Kyle, do you have any moment to spare? I want you to help out my children to help out a friend."
Kyle raised his eyebrows with a frown, tapping his finger like Arthur before nodding at his words. He got up from his seat while glancing at James, who was thinking about his victory over his brother.
" James, you are going with me. I believe you haven't worked with mutants yet, right?"
James's face fell when he heard his sarcastic words, trying to escape from him, but how could Kyle let him go in the end? He grabbed his brother's collar, dragging him to the warp gate with him as he continued humming his song.
" Identification is successful. Teleporting!"
They teleported to the school instantly, opening their eyes amidst murmuring students who curiously watched them with interest. Some bold ones even approached them to inquire about their well-being.
" Lord Kyle and James, you are here. The professor said you would arrive shortly."
Colossus hugged both brothers with a big grin, walking toward the school while explaining about their customs and history to them. Obviously, James and Kyle knew about them, but they didn't say much.
" We are currently short-handed due to problems with sentinels. The professor had cracked down on one of the facilities that is hidden from the public, so he had left with X-Men."
Kyle nodded at his words, turning his head toward the people in the room. His pupils shrank when he saw one individual who was waving at him with his iconic smile, which irritated him. His veins bulged when he saw his face, almost hitting him with anger.
" Wade Wilson. I recall the last time we met. You have destroyed my important item and stolen something from me!"
Colossus's jaw almost dropped, looking at Deadpool with a hint of anger as his cool poker face faded away. Megasonic and Yukio laughed at his comment, knowing Deadpool was screwed because he was the one who had requested this mission.
" Wait, I can explain, Kyle. I needed some money for a flight. I can pay you."
Before he finished his words, Kyle sent him flying with his magic as he fixed his collar and cleaned the glass shards which was shattered on the ground.
" You sent him too far."
Domino took out binoculars from her backpack, looking at the figure that was dangling on the tree. He was shouting for help, but no one was going toward him except Kitty Pryde. She gestured for Bobby to take out the ladders from the back, reassuring Deadpool, who was flailing around.
" James, shoot that bastard's leg. He can regenerate it, and it will help him."
Without hesitation, James shot his leg, which destroyed the branch that was dangling him. The loud noise of bodies hitting the ground echoed in the garden, making students gather there.
" Well, he deserved it. Back to the topic. I want you to help us find a few criminals who have escaped from the mutant prison."
Kyle took the photo from Yukio's hand, looking at the folders with a serious expression. He sighed when he saw the familiar face again, thinking this was the worst day of the month.
" How did he even escape from there?"
James rubbed his temple, placing Juggernaut's file on the table. Perhaps only Kyle was able to face Juggernaut in this room because he was a powerful mutant who could match Hulk when it came to danger and strength.
