Ye Xinren crossed his arms. "I'm coming."
Jiang Yanxu pressed his fingers to his temple. He looked calm as ever, but inside, frustration gnawed at him. He needed time away from Ye Xinren today—just one day to breathe. To recharge. But he knew better than anyone that saying no to Ye Xinren wasn't an option. And besides, this was part of his game. The doting husband act. He had to endure it a little longer.
And so, like always, he relented.
As expected, the moment they arrived at the office, Ye Xinren started stirring up trouble. He sent interns on errands, demanded snacks and drinks, and treated the staff as his personal assistants.
It wasn't long before Jiang Yanxu lost his patience.
Grabbing Ye Xinren's wrist, he yanked him into his office and slammed the door shut behind them.
The loud bang echoed through the room, and for a second, there was nothing but silence.
Then Jiang Yanxu snapped.
"You've gone too far today," he said, his voice sharp with irritation.
