The Crowd's scream filled the entire city that afternoon.
Marbella Petrovic, the only child of Grand Duke Petrovic family and once was the Empress of the Great Terraina Empire, now known as the evil witch that tried to poison the emperor and his beloved concubine for the throne.
She was half-kneeling near the guillotine in the middle of the crowd, waiting for her execution to begin. Her once glittering violet eyes now as death as muddy water, filled with bottomless hatred. Her elegant face now looks haggard. Her shiny platinum blonde hair now had no difference from the straw.
Marbella closed her eyes, remembering all events in her life. Her marriage with Julian, the current emperor. The suspicious death of her children, and
her dear family dies miserably without an intact body.
"His Majesty Emperor Julian, and Her Majesty Empress Suzanna entering the hall." A servant loudly announced the Emperor's and Empress's arrival.
The two people walk side by side as they took their seats. It was her ex-husband and his mistress that became the new Empress.
The emperor looked down with a disgusted look at his ex-wife.
"Your Majesty, don't be angry and let her die peacefully. At least it was her last honor as the former Empress." The beauty beside him talks with such an alluring gentle voice while looking down at Marbella with a sinister smile.
Marbella looked up at them with a hateful gaze. They are the mastermind behind her suffering.
"Bring the former Empress," the Emperor said in a heartless voice.
As soon as the Emperor gave his order, two soldiers escorted each side of Marbella with rough behavior. Her tattered white dress was covered with dry blood.
"Sinner, Marbella Petrovic." the executioner began, "has committed grave mistake for treason and attempted to murder the royal family."
The voice rang out eerily in the still air as it was announcing her fate.
"In the name of Terraina Emperor, Hans Julian Terraina, the former Empress will die by the guillotine."
Her ending is already settled. Everything was over.
"Begin with the execution of the former empress."
Marbella raised her head to see the victorious look in her rival. Her heart filled with countless hatred.
As the bloody guillotine blade dropped, Marbella had one last vow in her heart.
"I curse both of you until the afterlife. And if the Gods give me the second chance I will make sure they pay this bloody debt."
The crowd scream as Marbella's head rolled on the ground.
