On Wednesday morning, Shard was awakened as usual by the cat waiting for breakfast. Yawning, he went downstairs to get milk and the newspaper, when he discovered the letter lying on the doormat.
The stamp showing the scenery of Tis Lake on the envelope was very beautiful, and the return address was from a small town on the Eastern Old Continent Tis Lake Shore. It was a letter from Miss Mia Sun Gold:
"It's already mid-Frostfall Moon, finally Miss Gawder's letter has arrived! I thought she had encountered some problem."
Shard shifted his gaze from the letter, turned, and said to Mia Cat, who was waiting for him at the top of the stairs:
"Look, it's a letter from your owner, Miss Gawder."
"Meow~"
The cat licked its paw, showing no particular reaction.
Miss Gawder's letter was supposed to arrive at the beginning of the month, and the reason for the delay was mentioned in the letter.
