Judea watched her younger sister exit the room with poised elegance, the soft thud of Jacinta's heels echoing in the hallway. She folded the letter carefully and tucked it into the folder of documents beside her before meeting Carlos' gaze.
"Carlos, if you need anything, you can ask Edina here and she will cater to you," Judea instructed in a cool tone.
"Yes, Your Highness."
"I will take my leave for now," she said, standing with grace. "Make sure that everything we do is at absolute discretion and if anyone comes to your house to invest in your business, continue to decline them.."
Carlos bowed. "Understood."
Judea walked outside the office and her mind was racing with questions.
