"This is bad," Jayce said as he started pacing in his room.
"This isn't just bad; this is extremely, extremely bad," Bella said over the phone. "I need you to repeat exactly what happened, not skipping a single second."
Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, he explained his encounter, not leaving anything out.
"I knew you were a peeping tom but I didn't think it was to this extent," Bella said jokingly when Jayce explained using his [Dark Sense] to search the bathroom.
"Bella…"
"I know, I know. This isn't the time to be making jokes," She replied. "Please, continue."
Finishing his story, Jayce went silent as he waited for her judgment.
"If everything is as you say, you should be in the clear for now," Bella stated. "You did make physical contact with it but not enough for them to shapeshift into you or copy your memories."
Hearing the good news, he let out a sigh he hadn't realized he was holding.
