Chapter 7 - Round 7.

"What did we eat?" Yumi looked at her fist like it was something new. I hope we didn't eat some superhuman-enhancing drug that slowly kills us over time, that would suck.

"I don't know but we can figure it out later, we have company." The office was filled with guards armed with swords, bats, batons, and knives. They charged forward and Yumi and I got ready for a long battle. I dashed forward and I ended up in a wall. What? Yumi facepalmed and I just laughed it off, it seems the drug did give us superhuman abilities. The guards began to surround me and one of them swung his sword. It was so slow, I could count how long it would take to reach my body if I didn't move, 5 seconds. I sidestepped his sword and punched him in the face. The guard was sent into the concrete wall and made a crater with his body, oops.

I felt a sense of danger coming from the back of my head and I reacted with a duck. A baton almost hit my head. I counterattacked by elbowing the guy behind me in his gut, he was also sent into a wall. Rinse and repeat this process until Yumi and I beat every guard in the room into bloody pulps.

"That was surprisingly easy." Yumi nodded but she also frowned.

"Yeah, but what do you think we ate? It could have dangerous side effects..." Valid point. I hope this drug isn't making us stronger using our lifeforce or something, because who keeps a dangerous drug like that?

"True. But I haven't felt any side effects. Only thing I do feel is a pool in my lower stomach." It felt like a semi-large pool that seemed to flow throughout my body, I can't explain it.

"You feel it too? Although mine isn't a pool, it's more like a huge flowing river." A river eh?

"You feel it flowing throughout your body yet staying full in your stomach right?" Yumi nodded and I thought about what this could be. If I list anime worlds down the only real answer is Bleach or something. Don't they feel their reiastu or whatever in their stomachs? Then why don't I see or hear any hollows? I should've watched more anime in my past life, no use in regretting though.

"I think I can make it come out." Yumi held her fist in front of her face and closed her eyes. She had them closed for a full minute then her hand was covered in a blue energy with a black outline. The energy moved like fire but wasn't hot. So cool!

"That's so cool!" Yumi opened her eyes and saw the energy on her fist. She examined her fist for a couple of seconds before deciding to punch the wall again. Once her fist made contact with the wall a basketball-size hole was made and Yumi's are was elbow deep in it. Yumi pulled her arm out and began talking.

"I think this energy can enhance our attack power by a lot. Maybe it can be used for other things as well..." Time to test this on my own. I closed my eyes and focused on the pool. I began drawing on the pool and focused it towards my right hand. The pool lost a minuscule amount of its reserves and flowed towards my fist. I opened my eyes and saw the same blue and black flame-like energy covering my fist.

"Interesting...I do think this energy can be used for something else, I can feel a set of instructions in my mind." These instructions were like a step-by-step guide on a technique that I've dubbed '72'. 72 allows me to split myself into 72 copies with the first 3 copies being the same strength as the original and the rest being half. It also allows me to transform any hair on my body into a copy and I can control said copy into any object, but the larger the object the more energy it uses.

"I do as well. It's instructions for a technique called 'Disruption.'" Yumi explained what her technique did and it was incredibly OP. She can disrupt someone else's body and either cause immense damage or heal them. I think that's what she was doing with me when she poked me with her needles, though I don't think she knows. She said she can also disrupt the flow of someones else's attack so it won't hit her. I told her my own technique and the name of said technique.

"Well let's test these techniques out shall we?" I nodded and focused once again. It was a lot harder than last time and I think I focused on my energy pool for around 20 minutes. Then that's when I felt it, my energy pool lost a noticeable amount of reserves and I felt myself twice. I opened my eyes and saw another version of me standing in front of me.

"So you're me?" I asked myself and it responded.

"No, you're me and I'm you. We are the same person." That's literally what I asked, does my intelligence drop with a copy as well?

"That's not a nice thing to say, you're basically calling yourself stupid." Oh, I can read my own mind? So dual thinking?

"Yes and no." This guy is annoying. I ignored myself and watched Yumi continue to focus. She opened her eyes and immediately punched my clone, good thing I don't feel his pain. My copy was lodged in the wall and his mouth was spewing blood like a fountain.

"W-What...the...fuck..." Poof. Literally, my copy went poof like a shadow clone but without the smoke. He just poofed into the blue and black energy. After my copy disappeared I felt my energy reserves automatically fill back up, like it recovered what was lost.

"Ah, sorry about that." Yumi bowed apologetically.

"It's cool, nothing to apologize for." Yumi shrugged and we left the office. I followed Yumi down the stone hallway and we reached a spiral staircase with dim red lights leading upwards. Yumi and I walked up the stairs and reached a black door that Yumi kicked open. Yumi kicked the bouncer into the wall and I shrugged, poor guy. We walked out of the alleyway and after 2 months of captivity, I can finally see the sun again! The sounds of a busy Tokyo brought relief to my heart.

I'm free! Free from being enslaved and forced to fight! I'm free to do anything I want. I looked at Yumi and she looked up at the clouds, damn she's beautiful. I find it hard to believe that she's fourteen. Wait a minute...

"Yumi," I tapped her shoulder to get her attention, "I realize a large flaw in our plan."

"What is it? Money? I think this card has a couple million on it."

"No, it's our age. I'm twelve and you're fourteen. Who wants to hire such young bodyguards?" Yumi looked at me then closed her eyes. She sighed deeply and punched a nearby wall.

"FUCK!" That's the angriest I've ever seen her. Yumi punched the wall a couple of times, gaining a couple of looks from people walking down the street. After a couple of minutes, she finally calmed down.

"Sorry for the sudden shift, It just made me angry that we both failed to notice such a fatal flaw." Understandable.

"So what should we do now?" I asked and Yumi waved the black card she stole off The man's body.

"I said this has a couple of million on it right? We're going to need a place to stay for a little while." I nodded and followed Yumi to a nearby ATM. Yumi put the card in the ATM and it asked for a pin. Yumi thought for a bit before putting in the numbers 4215. The pin worked and the amount on the card was 15M yen.

"How did you guess the pin?" Yumi smiled and shrugged.

"I dunno, I just guessed." Impossible but that doesn't matter. Yumi withdrew 75,000 yen in cash and looked at me.

"Can you make one of your clones into a bag?" Good chance to test that out. I plucked one of my hairs out and threw it in the air. I focused on the hair and the faint energy that I was sensing from it. I thought about the hair turning into a large duffel bag and I felt a small amount of my energy reserves deplete. I opened my eyes and saw a large black duffel bag on the ground.

"It worked!" Yumi and I said in unison. Yumi began putting the cash in the duffel bag and it only took up a small amount. Yumi decided to withdraw half a million in cash. The 575,000 yen filled the duffel bag nicely. I picked up the bag and Yumi and I walked down the streets of Tokyo.

"So where are we going to live?" Yumi looked at me and shrugged.

"Somewhere nice, we need to figure out a better plan to takedown Title Creations. If I were to estimate how long it would take them to figure out what we did, it would be around a day or two." A day or two? That's a little slow.

"I don't think so. For a large conglomerate like them, it'll probably take a few hours."

"Hm, maybe..." Yumi and I continued to walk down the street in silence until I heard a commotion in the road. I looked to my left and saw six blacked-out SUVs coming down the road and towards our direction. It hasn't even been thirty minutes!

"Yumi we need to run!" Yumi was confused but saw the SUVs. Yumi and I ran as the black SUVs chased us. The SUVs sped up and once they got near us, they unwinded their windows. Sticking out the windows were assault rifles aimed at me and Yumi.

"Shit!" I plucked one of my hairs and turned it into a large metal shield. I pulled Yumi behind the shield and the bullets began coming.

"We need to do something! We may have superhuman strength but I don't think we are going to survive being pelleted by hundreds of bullets!" Yumi yelled over the sound of bullets hitting the shield.

"I have an idea!"

"What is it!?"

"I'm going to throw the duffel bag and use the cash as a smokescreen!" Yumi looked reluctant to part ways with the money but eventually agreed.

"On 3!"

"1!"

"2!"

"3!" I threw the duffel bag over the shield and turned it back into a strand of my hair. The cash created a large smokescreen and Yumi and I bolted away from the shield.

"Apply the energy on your legs to run faster!" Yumi said as her speed increased dramatically. I did what she said and I began keeping up with her speed.

"Right!" Yumi ran right into an alleyway and I followed. Soon after the six black SUVs rushed down the street in pursuit of air.

"How did they find us so quickly?!" I looked down and saw a red blinking coming from Yumi's pocket.

"That's how." I pointed and Yumi took the black card out of her pocket. It was blinking red and she crushed it in her hands. A tracking device should have been obvious, there is no way they would have found us in such a short time without it.

"Now we have no money...can we really take down Title Creations?" Yumi sat down and put her head in her knees. I didn't say anything but I could hear her crying in silence. Yumi is my only friend and seeing her in such a state is disheartening.

"Of course we can!" Yumi looked up at me with puffy eyes.

"How? We have no money, no plan, and are going to need a large force to take them down! We almost died five minutes ago! How can two kids possibly take down a large conglomerate!?" Yumi yelled and went back to crying.

"So you're going to let two years of your life go to waste? You've been secretly gaining information on them, you're going to let that go to waste?!" I let my emotions out on accident. No use in going back on my words. Yumi looked up at me with seething anger and stood up.

"To waste!? WHAT COULD YOU KNOW ABOUT GOING TO WASTE!? THESE MONSTERS TOOK MY MOTHER AWAY FROM ME AND YOU'RE GOING TO SAY IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING!?" Yumi's energy began to flare as she yelled at me. I was shocked, she never told me how her mother died. I guess I know now.

"Tch, by the way you're acting obviously," Yumi clenched her fist in anger, "Did you really think taking down a company as corrupt and powerful as Title Creations was going to be easy?! Get your head out of your ass Yumi! If we want to take them down we are going to need careful planning!" Yumi clenched her fist so right that they began to bleed. I watched as she struggled to keep the tears from flowing.

"You don't think I know that?! I've gone through 15 different scenarios and every single one of them calculated to absolute failure! Even the plan you came up with was a failure! I know taking such a corporation down isn't going to be easy! It gets frustrating when all your plans are foiled before they can even start!!" Yumi yelled and before she sat back down. I sat down next to her and we sat next to each other in silence for a couple of hours.

"I'm sorry for calling your hard work a waste." I felt really bad about that, I shouldn't have let my emotions go wild like that.

"I'm sorry as well. I've been trying to do this by myself even with you around. I think I need to realize that we are partners, no, friends." Yumi stood up and put her hand out for a handshake.

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yumi Nakamura. Nice to meet you." She's funny. I shook Yumi's hand and introduced myself.

"Nice to meet you Yumi, my name is Monkey Kusabare. I hope we can become great friends." Yumi smiled brightly and I returned the smile.

"Now, we need a real plan," I nodded this new plan is going to need to be well thought out, "This real plan is probably going to take a couple of years but I'm okay with that, are you?" I nodded again. Of course I am, I hate corruption with a burning passion.

"Then this new plan should be called Operation Fallen Angel. Why? Because it sounds badass!" Yumi smiled at my name for the operation and agreed. Prepare for hell Title Creations, we are coming for you!
