As soon as Dylan gets all necessary things done, he takes out his phone and called Gibbs.
"How's Lena? " he asked as soon as Gibbs picked the call.
" Still refusing to open the door.. " as hopeless he was, Gibbs replied in serious tone.
"Go stand before the door and put your phone on speaker.. " Dylan said.
there was a pause from his side.
" It's done. " Gibbs said.
"Hey, Lena.... You are safe now... You can trust Gibbs... Please open the door... Please I beg you Lena... " Dylan says to her, on the verge of tears.
"Love, It's just Safe people around you. Mom, Dad, Gibbs and Commander. They won't let anything get you or hurt you..They won't let anything happen to you. Lena I'm coming too." He says torn apart between the distances.
"Open the door, will you?" He continued to assure her on phone till he hear the faint sound of door knob turning.
"That's my Girl... Lena, I'm so proud of my brave girlie. I'm at airport now I'm coming. "
He can hear the faint sound of his mother gasping before the announcement of his flight.
"Dylan" it was Gibbs who called his name.
"Lena, she is in shock and not letting anyone near her. "
"Just make sure nothing goes unattended to house. Keep an eye out there too. I will be there by 12 of night" making sure he carried all of his things, Dylan says.
He instructed Gibbs as he checked his watch.
Upcoming hours are going to longest, pain staking hours for him.
Who knows it better besides him that how much his Lena, needed him now there by her side.

A brief relief was now detectable in the house as Lena responded to Dylan's call and opens the door but she sat there on couch and get startled at every step approaching her. Since his text, saying I'm at airport. Gibbs says it was of no use for his parents to stay here longer as they got to attend an important gathering. The lawmaker soon grasp the situation that Gibbs was telling them. He persuaded his wife to attend the event and after that they will definitely came here.
Rich who was going back and forth in this whole of situation got the duty to make sure nothing un necessary enters the lounge or the house.

Right before the flight took off Dylan, called Gibbs and ask him to send the her pictures.
Later when he saw, how much troubled his girl was, he felt that the whole Universe just fell on him. He called Gibbs again and told him to let him speak with Lena but his girl scream as soon as Gibbs came near her.
And it did pulled his heart out of him. At that moment he felt that it was his punishment for not taking her with him. A Tear fell from his eyes, startling him and the air hostess.
He hurriedly moves to his seat and looked at the dark sky above.
After what felt like an eternity, the plane took off and he felt a presence near him.
" Are you okay Sir?"
Dylan looked at the source of voice and said nothing. He just passed one of that kind of smile that he pulls rarely and assured the hostess that he is totally fine.
He just wished for this journey to end..
