(Several years ago)
"Please god someone help me!" A woman cried.
In the center of a small town she screamed for her life as a Feral with dog ears stabbed his sword into her stomach.
The woman and the rest of the fleeing civilians were swallowed by flames that were burning down their staples and houses, filling the air with smoke and ashe.
"My child!" The feral man cried. "He is trapped forever in darkness! Now your child!" He said stabbing the womens belly again. "Your child will do the same!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!
A giant thunderbolt landed on the man frying him on the spot, followed by a strong gust and rain that put out the fire.
"You sick animals how dare you!" A voice cried from above, "How dare you attack our cities we did nothing to deserve this!"
Spinning his hands in the air, Mythos created a cyclone between his arms that he guided around, trapping dozens of Feral in its gusts.
"Know this! I the great Mythos! I the destroyer of over a thousand Ferals! Will always be there to protect my people! The mighty breaker Magic can break space and time allowing me to appear anywhere there is trouble! The next time you attack a human! Remember my name! For I will hunt you down like sheep and peel your skin like wool!"
(Back to present)
"I thought... I was doing the right thing... I thought I was defending me people but really... I was just making things worse!"
Mythos turned away from the scene, horrified by his actions.
"Is there any way to... fix this?" He asked Redface.
"Unfortunately not" Redface said. "This world is doomed, our only hope is to take the humans land from them, just as they did from us."
Mythos dug his hands into the soil, aggravated with himself. "I did all this, and yet I was given a second chance at life... I have to do something! I have to correct my wrongs! I need to mend what I made broken!" He thought
"Redface" Mythos said. "I... I want you to do something for me." He said.
"What is it?" Redface said.
"There are six more years until the great Zalzi contest right?" Mythos said.
"The way he talks is so strange" Redface thought. "It's almost as if he feels responsible for this... is a child capable of this emotion?"
"That's right, and I have much more to-"
"No" Mythos said. "I don't want anymore training from you, from here on out I want to train by myself."
"Are you crazy!" Reface said. "You are strong yes but not capable! Do you know which trees are flammable? Which fruits are nourishing? Which flowers are poison? How will you survive?" He asked.
"During the four years I spent on your back, I observed all of that," Mythos said. "I'm finally ready to go off on my own."
"Why?" Redface said. "Why now?"
"Because, I'm going to find a way to fix that black place" Mythos said. "I'm going to learn... Magic"
"Impossible!" Redface screamed. "We know nothing of Magic! THe few books we have confiscated by humans are in a foreign language! We have learned maybe two or three spells over the course of years! How will you learn them with no book!" He screamed
"Because" Mythos said. "I am connected" He said.
"Connected?" Redface said.
"Our ancestors, and people of lands far before flow through my veins I can feel them calling me! I can feel the flow of essence in my very hands!"
Snapping his fingers, Mythos caused a bolt of lighting to jump out striking the ground in front of him.
"Who... who are you!" Redface said. "You are no child!"
"I am Mythos!" Mythos proclaimed. "I am the one who will mend the void! I am the one who will restore this land!"
As Mythos declared his power, his eyes became blue again, tethering his essence to the forest. As he stood proudly, a pack of wolves birds and animals of every breed gathered around him like faithful servants.
"Wow" Redface said. "You truly are Maȟpíya's son!" He proclaimed.
"And soon I will surpass him!" Mythos said throwing his hand into the air. "Just give me five more years!"
