The Magic Potion consumed by Medea was the "Flame III" provided by the previous sunglasses-wearing mercenary leader. The Flames ability at III-level had evolved into the traits "Unstable" and "Stable."
The "Unstable" trait meant that when the flames hit the target, it would cause a massive explosion, greatly enhancing the damage and attack range of the flames themselves.
