Author Note:
This is my first ever long form fan fiction story or to say correctly my first time writing a focused story. English is not my primary language, but I try to improve it to enhance the experience of the readers as we go long way with this, because I have a long story to tell you.
This all started with a weird dream I got one night and I was like whoa let's make a comic on it but... my drawing was not very good that's why I dropped it in its early story line.
Then I came to know about this platform and I gave it a thought that, hmm... let's do it like this. And I wrote the basic outline of the environment the basic characters and just few starting point to begin with. So let's see how it goes from here.

So, hey! I am Davis. At first glance, my life is not so much of an adventures roller-coaster and trust me, that's what I used to think.
I had gotten used to living away from home by then. The "Root" had become by new home... almost, even if it never felt like home.
I still don't know how could someone name this island as "The Root",
But what's in a name. This island is know for it's studies and academics.
I am living or should I say *was living (in a disturbed voice)* a normal life.
[walking towards the college.]
Just a normal routine of getting up, getting ready for college, walking down the road enjoying the beautiful sky and birds flocking around.
Mild breeze flowing around with a slight warmth to it. Honestly it was a great start to the day than usual.
[someone suddenly appeared]
"Oi! Davis!"
"Oh, Hey Ron." I said.
"So, are you still daydreaming... or thinking that something interesting might happen?" Ron asked.
"Nothing like that. I was just... thinking about some random things... nothing important." I replied with a normal face.
"Instead of thinking of something, are you thinking about someone?" Ron asked teasingly.
"It has nothing to do with that-" Davis embarrassingly replied. *sigh* "Just thinking about... what home would have felt like right now." I replied while grazing my head.
"Don't you just go EMO right now. Just live here like a new start, you know." Ron tried to cheer me on.
"Let's reach early today-"
"Davis, what's that?"
[We saw someone was being bullied.]
We saw someone being threatened by bunch of guys, on closer inspection, I noticed the they wore our uniform. I didn't respond to Ron as he is not someone to reason with in such situation.
"Ron we should-"
"What's going on there?" Ron shouted, rushing towards those guys.
"Ah! not again." I faced palmed myself.
Unlike me who stays away from fights most of the time...
"Damn you, how dare you bully my FRIEND!!!!" Ron screamed.
"It's... it's Ron let's run away." One of the bullies said.
"Nah. He is just alone, and we three could handle him-"
"Who else wants a piece of me." Ron yelled.
With just one punch, he silenced the bullies. Raw power, and anything for a friend.
That's Ron for you.

"Hey Max, you ok?" said Ron.
"Yeah...". Max get's up dusting his clothes and adjusting his glasses.
"Thanks guys." said Max.
"Don't thank me, like always, I was just standing by." I replied.
"That's fine. We know you. You may not be violent one like this guy-" said Max
"Huh, Nice a way to thank someone. Huh!" Ron replied.
"But you are one of us. And your powers lies somewhere else. You just have to figure it out." said Max.
"I was just enjoying myself, while you were getting bullied." I said it without looking at him. As this would be embarrassing, for not doing anything.
"You know him Max, he cares for you. But sadly can't show in front of us. Right....?" said Ron.
Like he said, I'm his friend as well, and not like I was enjoying him getting bullied. But I try to stay away from conflict as much as possible. And not that any of them expect me to jump into a fight.
And this whole bullying thing, it's happening even at the age of 20 mind you. Not sure if this world just doesn't care at all.

Ron is strong and can defend himself along with others around him. But I... I can't fight or to say truly, I don't even try to get in a fight.
I am not a fighter, not even close. That's why sometimes... I feel that I can't save those who are close to me. Like these guys.
[Davis smacks Ron]
"Don't go on say things about me, dammit." Davis said in a low voice to Ron.
"See you can fight. Was just telling the truth that's all." said Ron while rubbing his head.
"Anyway, what are your plans for this vacation? Excited!!!" said Ron.
"Nothing much, not that excited actually." I replied.
"Here comes the joy killer." Ron said disappointingly.
"Not that I have muc-" said Max.
"However... we can still spend time together you know." I quickly replied to Ron.
"Yaha! that's the friend I know." Ron overjoyed.
"Guys, don't you forget about me." said Max to both.
"I don't leave anyone behind you know." said Ron.
"So, just meeting together would be no fun. We need to go somewhere to enjoy it to its fullest." said Max.
"The nerd has starting to behave more like you Ron." I replied.
"Hey don't blame me..." Ron replied.
"Cut it out guys." Max started walking without us.
"Hey wait..." Ron and I shouted.
"By the way I already know that Ron would take us to same old location. "
"Hey..." said Ron.
"So Max, why don't you decide on the place this time." I said.
"Hmm. Glad you asked."
Both Ron and I could see his glasses shining like he has some brilliant idea.
"I know a place. It's called the 'Raven's Point' said Max.
"Raven- what?" said Ron.
"I have heard the name but not the place" I replied.
"It's a beautiful place and a tourist attraction." said Max.
"We can go there... what do you think?"
"I don't think of any problem. I know it would be a much better place than whatever Ron thought of." I said.
"Hey don't under-estimate my suggestions you know. They are gems in itself." said Ron.
"Yeah.. yeah" I replied.
"Yeah but handling him would be too much for us you know." I said to Max.
"We will manage it, Together." Max replied with a smile.
"That's my guy." said Ron.
[Walking down the road with Ron and Max.]
It was a great feeling I had after a long time. Whenever I spend time with these guys, it amounts to the time I spend alone.
"Life is beautiful and precious don't you think guys." Davis said to both.
"yeah but where did that come from." asked Ron.
"Nothing just my brain going EMO again." Davis replied.
It was a great feel and all, and I thought everything was going fine but...Not for too long.
