Tang Guangbo sat back in the chair meant for a doctor. Seeing Xu Huo emerge from the Dark Space, he raised a hand and pointed to the spot in front of him.
Xu Huo cooperatively sat down and reclined, just as he had in the treatment room outside.
"How are you feeling now?" Tang Guangbo asked with a smile. "Doesn't it feel like this evolution was remarkably easy?"
Xu Huo nodded honestly.
"That's because someone paved the way for you," Tang Guangbo said after a brief pause. "They must've laid down the groundwork for the younger you. If it were now, perhaps they would've made it even more challenging."
Xu Huo glanced at him. "Isn't it a bit against professional ethics for a doctor to tease their patient?"
"Why would it be?" Tang Guangbo replied. "Watch more societal news—doctors like me are already considered the better ones."
"The tensions between doctors and patients these days… some people deserve more than a little blame," Xu Huo said, twitching the corner of his mouth.
