Yara burst from the mist like a storm.
Thorne saw her first. His instincts flared just in time. He raised his massive sword in front of the group, taking a defensive stance as his boots dug into the earth.
Around Yara, dozens of chunks of torn rock and soil floated in the air, orbiting her body. She didn't bother hiding it. She wanted them to see it.
"She's flaunting it," Thorne growled. "She wants us to know what's coming."
Yara's crimson eyes met his for a split second, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. She stretched out her hands and let her Magic flood into the orbiting boulders.
In an instant, the swirling stones shimmered violently. Veins of glowing red energy webbed across their surfaces like living magma.
Then she thrust her arms forward and the ground shook.
The glowing boulders launched at once, screaming through the air and hammering the barrier with unrelenting force.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
