Chapter 163 - Those red eyes

" Something you both are not telling me?. Oh wait you never tell me anything, you both keep..." He interrupted her rants and corrected. " Your mission was to get Alvah to convert to being a celestial how is that ?" He raised a brow at her.

Zillah went silent. " Are you done yelling and realizing that you have been ignorant all this time".

" Tell me when last you spoke to him about becoming a whole celestial and not trying to balance himself ". He covered her with his figure her eyes looking him deep in the eye in the dark. " Or is it that the both of you know that Alvah will not make it a celestial?"

He looked at her questioning and her heart thumped against her chest. She had never thought about this. " Alvah would never be on Elysians side as long as he is an Infernal".

" Maybe you don't realize that he balances out being an infernal for a celestial and is not a celestial balancing out being an Infernal"

He cleared his throat. " Let me make this clear for you, he is an Infernal ". His deep voice rang in her ear like a bell she would never forget this day.

It was her first time seeing him Soo serious, a bit frightening as well and real. " The war is fast approaching, so near to us and you talk of a hand stand".

" If you can't get the soul of celestial you might as well be capable enough to fight for yourself by the time he goes berserk with his aggregate new and old powers".

" Those red eyes. Yes the one you are scared of. He would not see you neither thirst for you but thirst for blood".

His last statement threw her across. Her heartbeat was loud and heavy on her chest. She couldn't breathe hearing those words.

She knew so well that Ghazan was not trying to scare her but removing the mole in her eyes to what a bloody war could look like especially if Alvah was not on their side.

She had no idea when her voice escaped her mouth and she nearly cried. She immediately stopped and looked at him. He had no remorse neither was he pitiful for her.

He cannot feel pity for just her when the entire Elysian was at stake. She held her chest hitting on it heavily as if to stop the stab of pain in her chest.

She knew what it was like when Alvah does not recognize her or anyone and it was not a sight to behold. And being an Infernal would even shred her during the war to fight against him and not with him.

She immediately got down into position knowing the pain in her elbows can never match up to the pain of Alvah destroying his own home Elysian.

Ghazan went silent knowing his words hit her in the gut and was quite painful. They both did planks with her escaping short breaths holding in her tears.

He released her and they both stood up. He could be heartless and less considerate most time but he had a really soft spot for her that really wishes the best for her. Seeing her look so broken broke him too.

He extended his hands to her but she stopped him saying she wanted to leave. She took a slight bow reminding herself that this was not a joke and that an Empyreal was sent from the dead to teach her and nake her better.

If that did not sound serious to her then she was the joke. She needed to be more mature. She teleported back to her old room. And for the first time, she took a cold shower. She shivered badly but she did not care, all she wanted was to be drenched in cold to try and feel nothing.

When she was done she came out, wore herself heavy clothes from Alvah's and went to bed. Sooner she felt starved and needed to eat something to regain her energy.

She took a step and shivered in cold. She teleported to the kitchen and the cold followed after her. She instantly regretted taking that cold bath. Now she needed Alvah.

She walked slowly trying to get some snacks to eat when Alvah called her from behind. A tin fell down loudly. He quickly closed the door to the kitchen.

" Why are you here?, when did you come back?" He asked worriedly but she did not look concerned about his question. She turned around to pick some snacks hearing his voice.

" Eating unhealthy?" She didn't answer but nodded at him.

Alvah was her greatest distraction. Thinking about spending time with him just felt more like a fantansy to her. The reality was that he could be the end of Elysian. She needed to act faster than him if it was possible.

And her increasing fear of the fact that he never did tell her anything made her feel he was intentionally leaving her behind so she won't catch up with him. And If anyone should know anything about Alvah it should be her but if she doesn't and anything happened she would be considered a fool.

Besides if things were to go sideways. Alvah could always get a new life in Tartarus, they were girls there who could replace her, new friends to replace the others and he would already be the strongest and would rule.

But she needed to fight for Elysian. And if Alvah was not on her side, she would have to do this alone. Thinking deeply this way she looked at him one more time and sighed sadly about to leave when he called her name and said.
