Joe Ga watched as Squad C disappeared into the darkness, then patted Dorian's arm and said in a deep voice, "Elephant, we need heavy weapons. The Apache just used rockets to destroy a downed Black Hawk and those mercenaries, but there's still another one left."
"We go seize it!"
Dorian eyed the last Apache hovering in the distance for reconnaissance, and said nervously, "Boss, let's split up. I'll draw its attention and get it to come closer to us..."
Joe Ga saw Dorian take out a flare stick, ready to ignite it. He shook his head, just about to speak, when a huge explosion erupted near the highway in the distance.
That was the location where the National Guard had gathered—an entire battalion of soldiers had entered the jungle from that direction.
Joe Ga flinched at the sound of the explosion, and the Apache above was equally distracted.
