After the class, which I determined was History of the human world, the teacher asked the female student next to me to lead me to all my classes for the day and to let me know the dress code and the school rules.
She did as asked but wouldn't engage in any thing other then what was asked.
I was not able to learn more about her. Though the rest of the classes were interesting and I learned quite a bit about this place.
Kido was kind of similar to ninjutsu, while Hakuda was similar to taijutsu. I determined that Hoho was the movement method that Hiyori brought me to the academy with.
The other classes were not that hard due to similar knowledge I had from before.
Though there were some that made me think. Such as Introduction to Spiritual Power and Introduction to Swordsmanship 1. I was never really a swordsman and spiritual power is different then chakra.
I did learn how the Asauchi is related to the Zanpakuto. By meditating and always carrying the Asauchi I can form a bond with it a slowly imprint my soul on it to evolve it into a Zanpakuto.
This sounds interesting.
At the end of the day my chaperon lead me to a room on the first floor where she got me 2 pairs of the same uniform that I have seen all the guys wearing.
She then showed me to the male dormitory and handed me off to one of the guys who was heading into the building
From this student I find out that the first year is almost over and in 3 months I will be taking the end of year exam, if I don't pass there will be disciplinary issues.
He finally leads me to my room on the 5th floor which I enter.
The room has just enough room for the bed and a desk. I ask and find out the showers on down the hall.
He leaves me after telling me that.
I lay on the bed and organize my mind
Months go by and I barely squeak out a passing grade in all my classes. Though I am dead last in all my classes.
During this time, I learn a lot about this new world and see how no matter what world there is always conflict. At least here in the Soul Society the conflict is not like it is in the human world, which reminds me of home.
Over the next couple years, I lean a lot and slowly work my way out of last place in some of my classes.
I have improved my swordsmanship and during my second year I was given my Asauchi,
I also found my own type of Hakuda that incorporated some of my moves from taijutsu into it.
Starting my 6th and final year, I had respectfully reached around the middle of my grade, but unfortunately, I have been unable to evolve my Asauchi.
My goal for this year is to dedicate myself to doing so.
Over the years I have tried to cause my seatmate, who I found out is Fujioka Minako from when attendance was called, to at least talk to me. She is still has a cold personality.
I have at least grown up a little and now look like an 11 year old. Though I have found out that aging is different here in the soul society. There are some people over 1000 years old, while the Captain Commander Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto is over 2000 years old.
Towards the end of my 5th year the mandatory class Advanced Field Exercises we went to the Human World to train. While there I tried to see if there was the concept of chakra. Other than that the experience was different then I expected.
Where we went for experience was in the middle of an ocean. There had been an accident where a ship had sunk killing everyone but one passenger. We had been redirected here to help guide the souls by performing Konso. During which a few Hollows attacked us, we successfully killed the hollows and finished performing Konso on the 139 souls. Afterwards we then went back to the academy.
I'm looking forward towards completing my training so I can explore this new world.
