Yila responded after rinsing his mouth. He watched as Tipcapu disappeared with the wooden basin, and then saw the Elf girl—the one he had previously rescued from Caligula's Slave Capture Team—entering through the door.
"It's you. Looks like you're recovering well."
In response to Yila's words, the Elf girl nodded and softly said, "Yes, thank you so much for finding me then, Yila."
*Otherwise, after being sold as a commodity, who knows what fate might have befallen her. The Elf girl knew this very well, so her gratitude was beyond words.*
"You indeed should thank me."
Yila nodded in agreement with the Elf girl's words. While straightening his clothes in the floor-length mirror, he asked, "I never got around to asking you—why were you captured? Where were your companions?"
*Come to think of it, he never even asked her name.*
"Well, that day... I went out to pick some fruit with my father."
