As Tianlian took step by step treading the void and ascended towards the heavens, her figure became faster and faster with increasing distance from Earth, eventually leaving a string of afterimages behind her like a black lightning bolt shooting through the sky.
As she blazed a trail upwards, the atmospheric conditions grew increasingly hostile. After enduring strong gales, extreme cold, and other environments unsuitable for life, Tianlian found herself unconsciously high above in the sky hundreds of kilometers away.
Here, the air was so thin it was beyond the point of breathability; even sound struggled to travel, and there was not a trace of warmth. It could be said that for any life from Earth, this was the definition of hell.
However, at this moment, Tianlian appeared rosy-cheeked and breathed normally. She even looked unscathed, as if walking on Earth was just as easy.
Looking into the outer space, she saw two interweaving glows and the worry on her brows deepened.
