I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm and I swear that sometimes I wish I can kill whoever invented it. It is seriously annoying when it starts making that sound none stop.
Ring! Ring! Ring! Seriously if I don't wake up now, I'll be seriously late, and I need to seriously stop using the word seriously! You know what forget it. That word is like a second home to me I am always seriously using it see what I did right there, well what can I say bad habits die hard. Bad habits! That just reminded me of Ed Sheeran latest song seriously that song is a jam.
Oh my gosh I am seriously going to get fired if I don't wake up, but then they can't really fire me since I am like the smartest person in that whole company. What the heck am I even saying how can I be the smartest I am dead sure that it is the CEO that guy has like businesses all over the world and he really did start from scratch.
He was hot as fuck I would totally fuck him if only he was not my boss, and I am dead sure that he would never notice me cause I am what they call fat but come on I am not fat, sure I am thick but not that thick but I have a flat stomach and I am really curvy. I also huge boobs, and my face had freckles all over that makes it look like I have a disease. I can't say that I am insecure about myself, because I am so confident and comfortable in my own skin, and i have one heck of an attitude, a bad temper so when you push the wrong buttons be sure to run before I get to you.
What I always loved was my long wavey fiery red hair, it was at my waist. In the office there is this one bitch. She really is a bitch! She thinks that just because she is skinny to the bones and had so many plastic surgeries that I have lost count. Ok now seriously I need to get up and get ready, you'll know the bitch when you see.
I get my lazy ass out of the bed and drag myself to the bathroom to finally take a shower and get dressed. I get in the bathroom and do my business and I'm sure everyone knows what that is. I come out of the bathroom looking fresh, you have no idea what a good shower can do for you.
I went into my walk-in closet, walk in you say. I get a heavy paid checks for my work, so I don't live in skimpy apartments but those fancy and expensive. I bought it with my first check so that I could always have a place, I am single at the moment I mean when you this gorgeous why be tied down to a man.
Anyway, there is a reason why I am still single but that is a story for another day. But don't think that I was heartbroken to the point where I decided to be single, it mostly had to it my parents. Gosh I really hate how parents always think that they know what's best for you, they made me date this guy for their benefit and he turned out to be a totally psycho. He was literally everywhere that I went, why because I was his, and to top it off when I told my parents all they could say was that it's cute. I love my parents to death, but they made a bad judgement with that one.
My phone started ringing and now it was time to search for it because I don't even know where I threw it last night. I swear every time that I go to sleep I forget where I left my things, and I dead sure if I am late today, I'll be in trouble, after all today's meeting is one I should not even dream of missing. I haven't even told what time of job I do well you'll know soon what I do.
I went downstairs and took an apple cause as I said if I'm late then I'll be fired and, I really don't have time to eat breakfast. Well when was the last time I sat down and decided to eat breakfast, if my mother knew that I was skipping breakfast then she would barge in through the door and give me an ear full. Sure my parents love me a lot but that is only because I am the only girl. My parents really wanted a girl but got 4 boys and then there was me.
Anyway, let's leave that, growing up was hard as being the only girl among four brothers. There are some things that I wasn't allowed to do, for example I couldn't go to school by myself, I couldn't hang out with others accept my brothers and their friends. At first it was cute, but later on it got annoying to the point that they will walk me to my class. Anyway let's leave that for another day I need to go to work now, today there was a meeting after all and I can't really afford to be late.
I went downstairs and got into my car, my phone started to ring, and I picked it to see my best friend from the office.
"Hey Alex!" I said as I answered the call.
"Where are you." Alex asked.
"I'm on my way." I replied.
"Well, you better hurry up, cause the meeting is going to start sooner than later." She warned.
"Okay let me get off the phone and drive." I said as the car came to a red light.
"You do that but be fast." She spoke.
"I will!" I replied and hanged the call.
I cut the call and started the car when the lights turned green. My office was not far from where I live so I'll still make it. Within ten minutes I made it to the office, I got out and took my laptop bag and ran. I got in the elevator and pressed to the top floor, the door opened and I rushed out to my friends standing there waiting.
"How many minutes left?" I asked panting for air.
"20!" They said at the same time.
"20! So, you mean I ran all the way here for nothing." I exaggerated as I tried to catch my breath.
"Not for nothing at least you get to be prepared." Alex said patting me on the back.
"It's just a meeting with the planning department." I spoke.
"Not anymore." Alex said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"The boss is also joining." She replied.
"WHAT!" I shouted in shock.
"Yeah! That's why the meeting moved an hour earlier." Alex explained.
"But he never joins the meetings between our departments." I whined.
"Well apparently he wants to see the progress with the latest product." Alex said.
"Well! Well! Well, if it isn't the fat hippo of the office." I heard Avery say with her dump friend Olivia.
"I mean look at her, all she does is eat I'm sure she slept her way to be the Head of the department." Olivia replied.
"Who would sleep with that." Avery say and she and Olivia started to laugh.
"Oh, Avery not all of us had to sleep with almost all the guys in the building to get a job." I sneered back.
"What! I didn't sleep with these losers." Avery tried to defend herself.
And just like that she was gone. She is the bitch I was saying earlier on, all she does is look like a barbie doll every day and doesn't work at all. That's how she manages to keep her job, she sleeps with the guys in her department to do work for her.
"Do you guys want to go drink tonight?" Alex asked.
"Yes, it's been long time." And it has been a long time.
"I'm down to that I need to relax." Amber said.
"Well let's get this day done first." I said and we walked to our respectful places.
