It was almost like they would be picking off the scraps of others as they would be searching places where the other bigger organizations or families did not wish to go, or what they did not want to get involved with.
Anywhere that would be left alone during most ordinary times would become spots for such groups to go hunting for those types of materials, and if others had the same idea as them, then it would lead to conflicts over the rights to hunt there.
There were many issues involved with hunting Spirits on a much larger scale to do it to obtain those types of materials, whether it was in such a group or not.
Those types of groups would have to decide how to distribute the items and the earnings between them beforehand, and then they would have to all stick to that agreement.
If that agreement was broken, then greed could always lead to conflict over it all.
