Chapter 621 - A Few Loose Ends

Once all of the heads from other forces, human forces, and spirit clans had all gathered it was time. Even after the war was over, and a surge of deaths had occurred, there was no shortage of forces made present. As a result the venue for this meeting had to be outdoors, just to accommodate everyone.

One of the managers of High Heaven Cave Heaven stepped out first and took a deep breath. "Allow this humble one to welcome all of our foreign guests to our High Heaven Palace, home of the Supreme Grand Master Temporal Thunder."

I couldn't take the nervousness the manager felt anymore, no telling what kind of crazy things he may come up with if he were to let his nerves continue talking for him. "Friends from afar, welcome. I thank you for heading my call." The manager looked relieved and then stepped back to recover his senses. "I know that you're wondering what this particular assembly could possibly be about. After all, we did just have a huge celebration not too long ago."

"That we are Lord Temporal Thunder."

"It's only natural. But this meeting is of the utmost importance. So I'll just state everything that needs to be said, you can save your questions for after the fact."

The enumerated heads and representatives of the numerous forces, all nodded or made an indication they agreed. The fun part about it was some of the, not so much a representative or leader, was eying the child in my arms. They were clearly here for a different reason, one I decided to ignore for the moment.

"Even though Ink is still alive, he is perfectly contained. This means that while the battle against him is still ongoing, the war we fought against the ink clan is over. The human race and our allies may relax a little." I announced with a proud tone. "I am also the new head of High Heaven Cave Heaven. And using this position I'm going to prepare our people for the future. So that even in the event a new Ink level enemy appears, the suffering is left to a minimum at the most, and none at the least." I added. "Furthermore, we have all experienced what it is like to stand shoulder to shoulder, to grieve over the fallen from all of our forces. Therefore, I will not tolerate any sort of stupid bickering among forces. Friendly competition is fine, but murderous slaughter is not going to be tolerated. Is that understood?"

All but one nodded, this was the one person I had in place to play the inquisitive side. "Lord Temporal Thunder, may I ask what we do about those who claim murder in all of its various forms, is one of the grand daos?"

"They are wrong, it is not in any of the grand daos. It's merely an excuse they come up with to avoid responsibility for their actions. It's not even a path to hell, it just changes the severity of your punishment there."

"I see, well, if anyone would know, it'd be the son-in-law of hell."

"Indeed. Now then, that was pretty much everything I needed to go over-"

"Pardon me, but what are you going to do about Ink?"

I smirked. "Well, I'm keeping him permanently contained. You 9th ranks should have already felt the change from my actions." I chuckled. "But that's not the answer you wanted is it? The truth is that, until another person, on par with the world creation realm, comes along, Ink can't be killed."

This was a complete and total lie. There was actually nothing I needed to do, or even wait for. Ink could be destroyed with an afterthought. However, I needed to keep this threat alive to push the others into growing into the world creation realm. It's not a simple barrier to cross, and thus requires a lot of motivation.

"I see, then I suppose, that even though the war is over, there's no telling where that person may come from. It could be someone already alive, or someone who will be in the future."

"Well, you're half right. The ones closest to it still have a sizable gap to overcome. That said, the gap to reach the point where one can see their current level of strength… Well, let's just say it's a fairly large one as well." I waved the comment off. "Now then. Feel free to enjoy your stay here in my High Heaven Cave Heaven. Any other business you need to take care of will have to take place at another time. My family is expected to increase in number once more, please keep that in mind for the next few months."

Without waiting for any acknowledgement, I vanished as if I hadn't even been there. Leaving the managers to take care of the rest of the matters. Why? Because it was time to spend time with family, I'm not missing a single moment of that unless I need to.

Several months later, after all of the women in my household, minus two of them, everyone knows why, they gave birth and are now bonding with their new baby's… I was presiding over new events such as…

Many men and women knelt before me, none even daring to take a seat. Not even high rank open heavens dared. And yet again there were more here that was clearly meant to be used as a bond by marriage…

"Alright, let's make this quick. What is it that you all want?"

"Lord Temporal Thunder, please accept our sects and forces under your own force. We are prepared to offer you and your family any number of women to make this a reality."

"I see… Alright, every single one of you that desires to marry, stand." They stood, and I scanned their potential. "Not many of you have the capability to become one of my concubines, so if that is a deal breaker then kneel once more…" I waited a moment to see what would happen. "Interesting, I'm sure my brothers would love to get to know you." I chuckled. "Very well, you may consider yourselves as an extension of my force. However, you will need to be trained in how we do things before you return. Is that agreeable?"

"Yes Master!"
