Chapter 55 - 53. Stupidity charge, a lover's scolding.

Finally leaving the under city, the moment he see's her parents and the rest of the group coming out, now that the entire city has calmed down, he quickly puts his back to them, choosing to quickly shuffle his way to his small, but now very tidy and clean home, entering, before taking his small prize, an unconscious Silver, to his room, laying her down, he covers her up, to the chagrin of the new voice in his head, literally. But, before he could turn to leave, a small cold hand grabs his, stopping him in his tracks. "D-don't go..." A whisper quiet voice says, tugging at his heart strings, sounding more fragile than any time before, even the time he carried her to the hospital, broken, and battered, this...this is the first. He takes a seat on the edge of the bed, still holding her hand, trying his best to not squeeze it or pull her to him, his heart aching, but his mouth takes over before his brain can stop him. "What did you do...why do you keeping trying to kill yourself! You have a family...friends...Me!" His grip unknowingly tightened as if fearful she would disappear, and this is the one person he would run through fire and fury for so he is afraid of losing it. "What.. I did...was gave...you a better...future...a small part of my potential...in exchange for a better king, an equal king..." Silver's voice, small and frail sounding, but steady, her eyes half closed as if any more was too much for her now. "Yeah, and that nearly killed you, couldn't you wait until I was back so we could talk about it? Always, always jumping to do something, but it never seems to cross your mind the risks, what would've happened had i not been there for you? What would've happened if I was late?" His voice sounding both angry and scared, telling her his true thoughts. "Then, I would've been one with the city" Silver replies softly. "And you would've been my king to my city" she says, her voice sounding wistful."you are utterly insane, and stupid..." He grumbles.Though, he does take a longer look at his status window, seeing how things are still fritzing and updating, he wonders how much she sacrificed, truly."So....how much did you sacrifice this time?" He asks softly, looking at her. "Oh...about 3 percent? Give or take?" She replies with a yawn. But this is more than enough to confuse him,'just 3% is enough to cause so many changes?' He thinks to himself, even as the status window confirms the truth. While it may seem like so little, everyone is like a bucket, and each varies in size, her 3% might be equal to another person's 50%. Basically if she gave someone a small amount of her upper potential, she can give rise to monsters and unrivaled powers, because her upper limit is not dictated by the same rules as others, her class potential alone is near endless.
