Chapter 606 - Chapter 606: Five Small Worlds

"Perfect." Looking at Indra, who had transformed into the God-King of the Locust People, wearing a three-star crown and holding the supreme scepter, Muria displayed a satisfied smile. From his aura and appearance, Muria couldn't see any difference.

"Next, I disguise myself as this guy?" Indra asked curiously.

"That's right. You need to use his identity to control the entire Locust civilization's power and clash with the expeditionary forces of Dragon Princess Felicia, who will soon arrive."

Muria reached out and took the crown off Indra's head, playing with it for a moment. A confident smile appeared on his face, "According to the rules, these worlds already belong to me. However, we need to clear out all the resistance forces on them."

"Actually, I can secretly devour those big bugs one by one."

"After you finish, what would be left for me? Moreover, how long would this process take?" Muria glanced sideways at Indra, who had become the Locust God-King.

"Just do your job as the God-King. We are the hidden masterminds behind this civilization. Going up and fighting personally is beneath us."

...

"Your Highness, wake up. We have reached the star system of the Soros civilization. You need to get up and command the battle." In a dream-like room dominated by blue, a beautiful blue-haired girl lay deeply asleep on a bed. However, a maid kept shaking her, activating a pre-set wake-up spell.

"Lynn, let me sleep for another half-year. Turn off the wake-up spell! Don't bother me." With numerous disturbances, Dragon Princess Felicia reluctantly opened her eyes. Seeing the sapphire dragon, she muttered and turned over, trying to sleep again.

"We should have arrived here before Muria. Lower all the warship engines' power to conserve energy, maintaining only the basic ecological cycle. We'll wait here for Muria. Wake me up when he arrives!"

"Your Highness, you need to get up now. Your estimation was incorrect. The Uranos Empire might have controlled a stargate unknown to us, so Muria's void fleet has already launched an attack on the Soros civilization. We are late."

"Impossible," the sudden news made the Dragon Princess sit up instantly, as if someone had suddenly pulled the covers off her on a cold winter morning. "They only knew the coordinates, not the optimal route. How could they have arrived before me?"

"But this is the reality, Your Highness. Muria is now in the void. We have detected their fleet's signal," Lynn calmly stated the fact that Princess Felicia was unwilling to believe. "In the void, anything can happen."

"Then what are we waiting for? Prepare for battle. Wake up everyone still sleeping!" Dragon Princess Felicia, filled with killing intent, quickly regained full consciousness with the help of the wake-up spell.

"Your Highness, there's one more thing. According to the fluctuations detected by our reconnaissance ship, Muria's fleet has already taken over a small world."

"Foolish choice." The Dragon Princess was not surprised but delighted upon hearing Muria's intelligence, showing a smug smile. "As expected, the Titan who never received proper war academy education is all muscle and no strategy. Attacking a world early seems to put them ahead, but it attracts most of this civilization's attention. This is clearly setting it up for me to take advantage!"

"Lynn, confirm Muria's fleet's specific location. Instruct the fleet commander to go to the relative position of the world Muria has occupied, then select two worlds to attack simultaneously and take them down as quickly as possible."

Having already obtained detailed intelligence on the Soros civilization, the Dragon Princess confidently gave her orders. No matter which two worlds were chosen, she was sure to conquer them—it was just a matter of time.

Both Muria's side and Felicia's side had expeditionary forces far superior to the Locust civilization. The moment the duel began, the Locust civilization's demise was inevitable.

In an inter-world conquest war, if you don't prepare forces vastly superior to the target, you're an idiot. Crossing such vast void distances to engage in a war of attrition with another civilization on their home turf? That would be insanity!

...

"Great God-King, both the Mountain Gold World and the Sea Abyss World have fallen. The gods stationed there, along with their armies, have been annihilated by a force from the void."

Sudden news spread through the divine court, and all the locust gods with legendary strength knew about it. Soon, the Soul Intent Kings, who governed the locusts as nations, also learned of it.

After handling everything in the God-King Palace, Muria had Indra, disguised as the Locust God-King, order the assembly of all Locust God-Kings and locust kings to discuss this major issue.

"Another void force has invaded us," said Indra, sitting on the throne under Muria's direction, delivering news that left the locusts panicking. "We need to gather our forces and recall all locust gods and their armies. They can no longer defend those worlds alone. The survival of our civilization is at stake."

While speaking, a psychic projection was displayed in the God-King Palace, which Muria had recently repaired to show no signs of previous damage.

A vast void fleet, dragons of various types spewing different colored dragon breaths, dragonhawk legions riding giant fierce birds, steel golem legions that destroyed mountains and ancient forests as they marched, hulking and bloodthirsty dragonmen legions, and human army formations nearly covering the plains.

"See this? This invading force is immensely powerful. When they discovered our scouts, they did not obstruct but allowed us to record this. They know this will instill fear in us."

The disguised God-King silently used words to ignite the ruling class of locusts' anger. "They are too arrogant. It won't be long before they invade our home world. We must unite all our strength and fight this foreign invader."

Naturally, the locust civilization issued a retreat order. No matter how reluctant the stationed locusts were, they began to retreat to their home world to prepare for a defensive war. And just as they left, the small worlds they had painstakingly conquered were taken over.
