All the teams were gathered in Kojin's office. He stood before them with a serious expression as he began to speak.
"I'll be introducing you all to an elite force," Kojin said. "They'll help train and guide you for the upcoming event. Not just that, but they'll also be partaking in missions along side with You all."
Sōn leaned over to Deo and whispered, "What's he talking about?"
Deo shrugged. "No clue."
Kojin continued, "This elite group was trained personally by Veronica herself."
Kazuki immediately covered his face with his hand. "Please don't let it be who I'm thinking…"
Serena noticed. "Is everything okay?"
Kazuki pulled his hand down slowly and muttered, "Don't worry about it."
Veronica stepped forward with a smirk. "You can come in now."
Three figures entered the room—teenagers like the rest of them. One had green hair and wore a green coat. The second was a girl dressed in a sleek blue vigilante suit. The third had dark hair, wore a white shirt and black jeans, and carried a katana.
Veronica began her introductions. "These three are part of a specialized unit called Black Fire."
She gestured to the green-haired teen. "This is Kazui. A C-rank assassin. He's extremely skilled and good with weapons."
Next, she nodded at the girl. "This is Luck. Exceptional in hand-to-hand combat and weapon mastery just like Kazui."
As she turned toward the last one, the boy grinned.
"My name's Tobi," he said with a cheeky tone. "Looking forward to working with you all!"
Kazui promptly knocked him on the head. "Stop acting childish dude, we just got here."
Veronica sighed. "Tobi may be immature, but don't let that fool you. He's an elite assassin and only 14. He reached C-rank at just eight years old."
Alex's eyes widened. "C-rank at eight? That's… actually impressive."
Tobi beamed. "Thanks! By the way, why's your hair white?"
Alex chuckled. "It's natural."
Kojin stepped forward. "Like ive said before, The Black Fire group will help with your training and also assist on missions."
Veronica smirked and glanced at Kazuki. "Oh, and just so you all know, Kazuki used to be part of this group. But he's too shy to admit it."
Kazuki's face went red. "Can you not bring that up?"
Tobi laughed. "I still remember how Kazuki used to run from Shikigami beasts during training. He screamed like a little kid!"
"Do you ever get tired of being stupid?!" Kazuki snapped.
Alex joined in. "Wow, I didn't know you were a scaredy-cat, Kazuki. So? What was it like back then? Huh? Tell me. Tell me?!"
"Shut up, airhead." He annoyingly replied. "Shit! I'm surrounded by idiots everywhere." He thought to himself.
Serena giggled. "I've got a feeling you and Tobi are going to get along, Alex."
Sukuna added, "I think Tobi's really cute.". Serena turned to her "Hey, he's just 14."
Later That Day…
Alex and Tobi were in Kojin's office.
"Tobi will be staying with you from now on," Kojin said. "He's your new training partner."
Tobi lit up. "Seriously? I get to live with you? This is gonna be awesome!". Alex turned to him with a mild smirk "Yeah, I dont feel like I'll have problems with you."
At the Training Fields…
Alex, Kazuki, and Tobi stood before Diablo.
"We'll be doing another training session today," Diablo announced.
Kazuki groaned. "Didn't we just train a few days ago? I know this is out of character for me, but give me a break."
"This time it's a sparring match," Diablo said. "You and Alex… versus Tobi."
Alex paused before he smirked. "After lying on my bed watching anime for two days, I could use the warm-up.". Kazuki said to him with a lazy expression "You're just laziness personified and a training junkie in human shape"
Tobi tilted his head. "You sure you wanna spar with me?"
Alex gave a half-shrug, half-smile. "Kojin said you're strong. I wanna see how strong."
Diablo cut in. "I said both of you should fight him for a reason. Sparring with Tobi alone would be overkill. Kazuki should have a small idea of what im talking about."
Kazuki muttered to himself "I know Tobi is strong and all, but I've never seen him fight at all." He flashbacked to the time where he saw Tobi coming from a forest with blood all over his body and sword "All I know is that he's deadly strong."
Tobi grinned. "Don't worry, Alex. I'll go easy on you."
Kazuki stood. "You cocky little—Diablo wasn't kidding. This guy's on another level. For him to look Alex in the eye and say that is audacious!!!"
Diablo stepped back. "I'll be watching from a distance. Try not to die you three."
Tobi unsheathed his sword with a playful glint in his eye. "Don't hold back too much. I want this to be fun."
Meanwhile…
In another training field, Sōn, Deo, and Mori stood across from Kazui.
"If you want to take me on," Kazui said, cracking his neck, "you'd better be ready for what's coming."
Mori pulled out a pair of daggers. "That was a ganeric sentence, but we're all ready.". Kazui muttered to himself "I can tell that this Mori guy is the edgy one of the group."
Sōn's hands ignited in flame. "How strong can you really be?"
Deo folded his arms. "If either of you need backup, I'll jump in."
From a distance, Baraka and Kinto watched silently.
"I still think this training stuff's unnecessary," Kinto said.
"Yeah," Baraka nodded. "Feels like a waste of time when you realise we almost got killed last week with criminal invasion."
Back on the field, Kazui grinned at his opponents. Green flames burst from his hand, forming into the shape of a massive scythe.
"Let's see what you've got."
