Chapter 335 - Chapter 332

"Young Master, you're awake?" Nicole said softly when she saw Lucas open his eyes. "Young Master, why is your door open? Did someone come in?"

Her words immediately made Annie, who was hiding under the blanket, nervous. She panicked and, in desperation, bit Lucas's stomach—though it was more like a gentle nibble.

Before Lucas could say anything, he felt a cool and wet sensation on his stomach. The corner of his eye twitched—this fox-eared girl actually used her mouth to bite him.

"No one came in, it was just the wind." Lucas said with a chuckle. As soon as he spoke, the fox-eared girl, blushing, let go.

"The wind?" Nicole blinked her gray eyes, looking puzzled. The door opened into a hallway, not directly outside—how could there be wind?

She didn't question it further. Just then, she felt something tugging at her foot. Looking down, she saw Caesar playing with her feet.

"You little troublemaker, so full of energy this early in the morning." Nicole squatted down and rubbed her slender hand against Caesar's panda-like face. The little guy wriggled in dissatisfaction, swiping at her palm with his paws.

"Alright, I'm not playing with you anymore." Nicole let go of Caesar, stood up, and picked up a wooden box from the doorway. She started packing up the items on the table, some of which were placed in cardboard boxes today.

She didn't ask Lucas what was inside. She simply handled them carefully, as these kinds of things showed up every few days, and they always seemed to be quite valuable.

While Nicole was busy packing, Annie was having a hard time. Hiding under the blanket was unbearably hot, and more than that, breathing was becoming difficult.

Lucas's expression turned strange. Warm breaths kept hitting his stomach, and… his little Lucas was starting to rise.

Oh no—it had already risen.

"Eh?" Annie's cheeks flushed red, her brown eyes filled with confusion. She felt something pressing against her chest—hard and warm…

She instinctively reached out and grabbed it.

"…"

Annie froze for three seconds. Her delicate face turned crimson as she suddenly realized what she was holding. Most importantly… she was actually gripping the Young Master's little Young Master!

Oh no—her head felt dizzy. How could today be so embarrassing? Let go? No, that would be awkward. Keep holding? Even worse. She was completely stuck.

"Haa… haa…" Lucas took a deep breath. The fox-eared girl wasn't letting go—and it was getting uncomfortable for him.

"Alright." Nicole finished packing everything into the wooden box and called toward the door, "You can all come in now."

Tap, tap, tap…

Several maids entered with their heads lowered, carrying three wooden boxes out of the room. Nicole followed them—these items needed to be locked away in the inner vault first.

"Young Master, I'll be leaving first. I'll come back later." Nicole said before leaving. Her eyes flickered toward the coat at the corner of the bed, a strange look appearing on her face.

"Alright." Lucas nodded, watching her leave.

Click.

As soon as the door closed, Annie's head popped out from under the blanket. She gasped for air, her flushed face covered in a rosy glow. Her brown eyes were misty, and her fox ears drooped weakly.

She was too embarrassed to look at Lucas. What had just happened was far too shameful—something she never could have imagined before.

Lucas's eyes carried a hint of amusement. The fox-eared girl was completely different today. Gone was her usual mischievousness, replaced by a pure and delicate shyness that made her even more beautiful.

"Annie." Lucas called softly.

His hand reached out, gently cupping her face, then slowly sliding down to her chin. With a light tilt, he lifted her face and leaned down, pressing his lips against hers.

"Mm~" Annie let out a soft hum from her nose, her long eyelashes trembling. Her hands hesitated for a moment before grasping the fabric of Lucas's chest, clutching tightly as she shyly responded.

Lucas held Annie tightly, as if wanting to merge her into his body. His hand slowly moved downward, just about to climb a certain high ground when—

Knock, knock, knock…

Before the two could even react, the door swung open.

Amelia stepped inside, then froze, staring blankly at Lucas and Annie locked in an embrace, their lips pressed together.

"…"

Amelia's eyes flickered with both shyness and curiosity. A faint blush crept up her cheeks, but her gaze remained fixed on them, unblinking.

Annie stiffened completely, as if she had turned to stone. She could only stare at Lucas's face in a daze, unable to process what was happening.

"…"

Lucas rolled his eyes. Seriously? How was he supposed to continue with Amelia standing there, staring like that? Couldn't she see that Annie was already so embarrassed she was about to cry?

Oh my god… Annie screams internally. What is going on today?! First Nicole, and now someone else? She was facing away from the outside of the bed and had no idea who was standing behind her.

"You… why are you here?" Lucas said helplessly. The girl was still staring—those eyes looked at him as if he had done something wrong, like he had betrayed her somehow.

"I came to sleep." Amelia said flatly.

She had a nightmare again. It had only been three days since she last slept with Lucas, and already, she was back to having the same nightmares she used to have all the time.

"But you already woke up, didn't you?" Lucas sighed. What kind of logic is this? Waking up just to go back to sleep—what was she thinking?

"I'm sleepy."

Amelia grinned slightly and patted her mouth twice, imitating Lucas's yawning motion.

"…"

Lucas was speechless. That excuse is so weak. And the way she was pretending to yawn—it looked way too rehearsed.

"I… I…" Annie stammered, still trapped in place, her voice shaking with embarrassment.

Annie's face was burning with embarrassment. She didn't know what to say, so she quickly scrambled out of Lucas's embrace. Grabbing the coat at the edge of the bed, she wrapped it around her head, leaving only her brown eyes visible, and bolted out of the room.

"Hah…" Lucas let out a breath, watching her disappear. Then, he turned his gaze toward Amelia—who had already climbed onto the bed. She really doesn't hold back, huh?

"Sleep," He muttered, pulling the blanket over Amelia before lying down himself. He might as well take a nap too.

"Hug," Amelia said, snuggling into his arms. She lifted her head, staring at him with her eyes, a hint of deep reliance in them.

"Alright." Lucas held her close. This wasn't the first time he had slept while holding the girl. In fact, she often sneaked into his bed in the middle of the night.

"I want it too." Amelia suddenly said.

Her eyes looked straight at Lucas, and a soft blush spread across her cheeks.

"You want it too? Want what?"

Lucas blinked, confused. What is she even talking about?
