Randy Hill stood by, watching Edward Anderson talk to himself.
It was Randy who had handled the withdrawal of the news report. Edward used to ask him to do such things frequently. However, Edward would never brag about it. This guy, on the other hand, couldn't wait to show off to Bella Scott after handling the news.
Even more confusing, the imposter Edward Anderson's tone when bringing up Bella Scott was so genuinely mixed with love and resentment that he seemed to be acting as if he were not pretending.
Particularly how he would constantly look at the photograph throughout the day – when tired from work, while eating – as if Bella Scott and the twins really were his woman and children.
At this moment, Edward Anderson picked up the photo again and wiped a small speck of dust on the photo with his sleeve.
"I really want to see the kids," he whispered.
