Enji smiled as he finished making his robot dog. It reminded him of a toy he had as a kid.
He hummed as he stared at it. Maybe he should make it more lion-like, like those so-called lion-dog statues from ancient China. He had seen a Japanese take on it when his family visited his granny's homeland.
Would his granny appreciate it? While he wasn't as bad as his twin, he did give her his own handful of trouble. Especially when it came to food.
"What are ya working on, En?" his grandpa asked, trying to sneak a peak at his robot puppy.
En covered it. "I'm not done yet. I have a few modifications to make."
He hummed. "Why are you hiding it? Is it a gift for our Cat?"
"No!" I sighed. "I wanted to surprise Granny Kari."
His grandpa's eyes twinkled with mischief as he leaned back, folding his arms. "A surprise for Kari, huh? You know she's gonna cry her eyes out when you give her this. She's a softie for your creations."
