Flat–Brim Samurai Chapter 90 - A threat enters the danger zone
An ominous cloud floated towards earth, moving rapidly. It held an ominous fleet of ships within, preparing for battle. A man with purple skin and black hair looked at his soldiers in front of him ,"Prepare the guns."
,"I see you guys all made it, well nothin more to say than the mission we were tasked with. Apollo, I don't know if you know this but missions that a specific group are tasked with in the interplanetary military must be followed no matter what, no exceptions." Apollo nodded ,"Right now an alien named Duren is headed towards Earth because he seeks to 'take it over'. Obviously we're not going to let that motherfucker do that. Our goal is to eliminate all enemy forces, plain and simple." Noah smiled ,"I'm ready!" ,"I know you're excited but I want you to calm down, this is Apollo's first mission and I want to honor him by having him pick who he wants to fight." They all then looked right at Apollo, his shoulders raised, embarrased ,"What?"
John walked them over to the monitor and spread out the panels into the middle of the room. Holographic panels revealed many hi tech ships moving at faster than light speeds towards Earth ,"Now you may not know this but this is actually a common occurrence, you only don't know about it because we make sure to handle it faster than you guys even realize it's there in the first place." There were different metrics that flashed across the screen displaying a type of power level of the ships and the combatants within them. A large number appeared above a person, if you could call him a person. ,"That guy, how strong would he be compared to me?" ,"I would say maybe a little stronger, What? You want him?" ,"Yeah, That'd be great."
The group was floating in front of the fleet, John spread out a bubble to talk ,"Alright everyone, you know what to do, get going." ,"""YES SIR!!!""" They dashed towards their ships, Apollo smashed through the side KABOOM BEEP BEEP BEEP. Red lights flashed around him as he ran through the cabin, many confused looking purple monsters aimed their guns at him and shot beams of light ZOOSH ZOOSH ZOOSH. Apollo dodged the lazers, sprinting forward and taking them all out with 3 punches. He continued to rip and tear through the hordes of aliens, getting closer and closer to the origin of the strong energy.
BAM BAM BAM Apollo broke through the walls over and over again, breaking the ship beyond repair. He took a moment to absorb his surroundings, the architecture looked so unique, nothing like what he had seen on Earth, he wondered if it was really alright to destroy all of it. But that was the thing, it was orders, and there was near nothing that trumped those. He felt like he was invincible, all powerful against these extraterrestrials.
He felt close to the leader of the alien crew (I can't wait to see what he's got!!!) BAM. The alien looked at Apollo, Apollo had to translate the language via Art: Language Conversion. ,"Inviting yourself in are you?" ,"Yeah, it's time for you to die," ,"I was about to say the same thing to you." BWOOOOOSH ,"My name is Duren, it's nice to meet you," BWOOOMPH ,"Same for me." Duren used Telekinesis to bring his sword to him, a double edged longsword. His clothes were that of a type of nobility, although not of birth but a hierarchy of power. Apollo summoned his Akarui, BWOOOOSH CLASH BAM they clashed, the whole room expanding due to the power.
BAM BAM BAM ,"You know you're pretty strong," Apollo said ,"But the problem is, you're sword strikes are ameteur at best." Apollo parried every single sword strike perfectly. Duren's forehead scrunched as he looked for an opening he couldn't find. TING TING TING TING TING They exchanged blows over and over again, Apollo flipped his sword behind his back and dodged all of the attacks like Duren was in slow motion, this freaked Duren out, because from what he knew, he was much stronger than this bastard. Shivers went up and down his spine, he then grabbed objects with his power and threw them at Apollo via Telekinesis. BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM The dust cloud obscured his position (Did I get him?) Duren asked himself. ,"You think you could kill me that easily?" Apollo said, standing atop the rubble.
