The young fellow looked honest and simple, and was so nervous in the presence of the imposing Mario Yuno that he barely dared to breathe, Kiara remembered what the veterinarian had said.
If it was indeed proven that the pup was sired by Ashan, the trainer would be penalized.
And Arlong certainly wouldn't escape blame either, since he was the one who had brought Beautiful Lady in.
Besides, even if Mrs. Kiara had her suspicions, without solid evidence she couldn't just point fingers; she had no idea what color the puppies would turn out to be when they mixed the black and yellow fur. They would just have to wait until the puppies were born a month later. If the black dog was the culprit, it would definitely show in their fur color.
