Rod spoke calmly, "I will succeed, I will complete the sealing, I will assist Trolian in conquering Storm Pass, in taking down Tasnia Star City, in completing the Holy Fire Plan, I will hold the flame high, step by step I will ascend, until light shatters the darkness."
"Just you wait."
He approached the central building and pushed open the Sealing Gate without hesitation.
Behind the door was a descending corridor.
Rod led the way down, with Hall and Misole closely following.
An air of fear hit them in the face, and the ice-cold atmosphere froze their blood. Misole whispered, "I feel it, right ahead, the curse of the Soul Devouring King has become very clear."
Hall said calmly, "Me too, my soul has already touched that ancient Starry Seal, but it's in better condition than imagined, interfered by some extra power."
Rod didn't speak, but his face was icy cold. The various illogical anomalies in this mission reminded him of the Doomsday believers.
