Brief History of The Prototype Omnitrix

The Prototype Omnitrix was created by "the first thinker", Azmuth, from Galvan Prime, in order to promote peace and harmony by allowing the user to walk in shoes of other species, following the destruction of a planet caused by Azmuth's previous creation, the sword Ascalon. The prototype Omnitrix was discovered by Ben Tennyson when he was ten years old and stuck itself upon his wrist. At first, it allowed him to transform into his "Original Ten" but later on the number of his transformations grew.

The Omnitrix recalibrated itself when Ben put it back on when he was fifteen years old, which changed its appearance and functionality, and reset his playlists, which gave him a new set of ten transformations, which currently is Playlist three. Further on, the prototype Omnitrix was later self-destructed in order to stop Vilgax from using it. It was then replaced by the Ultimatrix as Ben's Omnimatrix Device.

Restored Omnitrix Prototype: Uses and Functions

1. The OmniMatrix or Omnitrix functions:

The Omnitrix typically looks like a wristwatch with a green hourglass symbol over a black backdrop.

Are unique level 20 tech devices from the planet Galvan Prime, which were created by Azmuth, and are portable libraries of intergalactic genetic data that allow the wielder to alter their DNA at will and transform into a variety of different alien species, each with their own unique abilities.

Another function is acting repository for the DNA of over a million different species that Azmuth thought were intelligent. The samples were scanned, and when necessary, repaired. This collection of DNA is then preserved in the event that any of species catalogued should ever be rendered extinct, allowing the Omnitrix to restore them to life.

The Omnitrix contains about 1,000,000 DNA samples from the Milky Way Galaxy, and it also contains DNA from the rest of the 4 other Galaxy.

Features:

The Omnitrix is powered by a unique, self-renewable power source, invented by Azmuth, that is never fully explained in the show. This power source is housed within a central energy core called the Omni-Core, which also contains the device's genetic data and transformation capabilities. The Omni-Core is capable of various functions, including creating portals, disabling the device, and fueling Ben's transformations. And is capable of destroying the entire universe, upon building up enough energy, in a matter of two days.

The Omnitrix transformations are the prime example of the species, being healthiest, strongest, and most versatile.

The Omnitrix automatically uses the molecules of its wearer's clothes to create coverings for the transformations. This outfits are commonly inspired by the traditional worn attire by the species.

The Omnitrix has a DNA scanner. Which allows the Omnitrix to aquire uncatalogued alien transformations through different methods. Currently, the Omnitrix can scan uncatalogued DNA samples in its varsity around 35 meters. A setback is that all other functions are turned off until any uncatalogued DNA has been acquired.

The Omnitrix supplies transformations with the necessary equipment for safe use made with nanotech, such as Goop's antigravity projector, Brainstorm's breathing brace, and Ripjaws breathing tanks.

The Omnitrix has a built-in Universal Translator. Can be used as a communicator, navigational map of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Omnitrix can repair DNA damage. Fixing various forms of genetic damage, including mutations and genetic abnormalities. It can also reprogram DNA, merge different alien DNA, and even cure diseases by merging cells with alien cells immune to those diseases.

This extends to the user's DNA, correct any preexisting genetic defects or illnesses, return the user's into their peak condition. An added fect to this is that over time the user will become the prime example of his/her the species. This can further be enhanced by, through the user's life style such as physical training and diet.

While the Omnitrix is powerful and capable of repairing a wide range of genetic issues, it's important to note that it may have limitations. For example, it's can't whether regenerate limbs or restore organs that have been completely lost.

Protection Mode-This mode is adaptive, it creates protection for the user, for example, an energy shield.

Import basic instincts of the selected alien species into Ben's brain seconds after transforming, this feature is very useful when Ben transforms into a new alien. An added side affects is that curtain transformations species traits subterly or dramatically affects the user's personality. Examples: Rath and Brainstorm's

The Omnitrix can unlock new transformations, modes, and new features using codes that are activated using the dial.
