"Damn it, are we lost?!" Chris spoke in exasperation.
He and Kahn had been trying to get to the backyard of the estate for the last fifteen minutes.
But navigating the vast manor crowded with so many guests turned out to be no easy task. And this was them after asking for directions multiple times.
Kahn ran a hand through his long blond hair, appearing unfazed by the whole situation, but the flicker of annoyance in his gray eyes gave him away.
He turned to Chris and spoke coolly, "Don't you excel in the School of Divination? Why don't you… you know, divine the way to the backyard."
Chris turned to look at the youth with an incredulous face. "Divine the way to the backyard? Do you hear yourself talking? You want me to use magic for such a menial chore?"
Kahn stepped forward, looking straight at the young man's deep blue eyes, and ridiculed, "Then how are we going to make it out of this manor? Don't you have any shame getting lost as a Magus who is proficient at divination?"
