The sea of white daffodils was only the prelude…
Each of the daffodils had been planted with a seed of spiritual energy by Adam. He had gotten the idea to pull off such an attempt by taking inspiration from the Devil of Secrets.
Needless to say, his spell was nothing as vile and insidious as the devil's.
The seeds inside the daffodils served only one purpose - to identify the Mana Vortex Magi gathered in the crowd.
After all, until and unless one cast a spell or proactively radiated their mana fluctuations, it was nigh impossible to tell what arcane rank they were.
The exception to this was that stronger Magi could tell the arcane ranks of the weaker Magi.
An invisible thread connected all the seeds inside the white daffodils. Once Adam had identified where the Mana Vortex Magi of the various factions had gathered, he cast another spell.
