Constantine Estate, Uptown Quarter.
A black carriage rolled down the street past the estate's main entrance.
When Adam, seated inside, saw the sheer number of people gathered outside the gates, a look of bewilderment crossed his face.
"What the…" He was stunned.
There had to be at least more than a hundred people gathered in front of his gates. Additionally, there were also some people standing on the other side of the street.
"Don't tell me…" Adam muttered, quickly drawing the curtains shut. "Are they all here for me?"
Raidon was sitting across from the youth inside the carriage. He looked at Adam's startled expression and couldn't help but feel amused.
"That is correct, my lord," he said. "They've been gathering in front of the gates for some time now."
He paused, thinking of something, before adding, "And now that you've made your presence known in the city, I'm afraid more of them will show up."
