Leon recoiled in horror at the sight before him.
At first, he thought Astra was simply asleep or meditating to suppress the Evil God's dark power.
But the truth was the opposite—she had been overwhelmed by the dark power, her appearance now twisted and grotesque.
"Miranda, what's going on?" Leon called out urgently.
"As you can see, she's been consumed by dark power," Miranda's voice echoed in his mind, tinged with helplessness.
Leon's brows knitted together. "Didn't you say she was sleeping to keep that power at bay? Why is she being overpowered now?"
Miranda fell silent for a moment, then answered, "At first, I believed Astra could resist its influence longer. But I was wrong—she couldn't withstand it at all."
