Chapter 387 - Isidor’s Guilt

After Isidor heard Dante talking about his past experiences with goddess Aelara, the cyborg stayed silent for a few seconds, digesting all of the information.

He always knew deep down that the goddess he praised wasn't as kind and forgiving as the tales portrayed her. Still, back then, he convinced himself that all of her actions were done for the greater good.

Now, Isidor felt conflicted. After his soul was transferred to the android's body, he had enough time for his mind to finally settle and organize his thoughts, and he wasn't sure he wanted to keep calling himself a 'holy knight.'

"Then don't. Just call yourself a 'holy cyborg' or something…" Dante half-jokingly commented.

*Sigh* "There is nothing holy about me…" Isidor replied with a sad tone.

"I don't think anyone cares about the details. Besides, you use 'ether' for your spells, right? I think 'holy cyborg' would be the best way to differentiate you from the others…" Dante explained.
