I could barely believe it. Both Michael and Gabriel have denied the Ruler. They were the most loyal of all.
"And to think, that Gabriel could have been a Supreme being this whole time…"

Then the Ruler will die, The Author will die, and I… I will also die.

I looked out my window and saw many demons celebrating, as I told them that the time of liberation was soon.
"Now, we just need to enter Hell. Then, we can free those who can't leave."
"Who do you think is keeping them?"
"Well, Helel, it's quite obvious."
Helel, the one archangel to side with me. Also, the angel that was left by the garden.
"Quarinara."
"Why her?"
"She never loved us or our power, and with our most powerful commanders now able to move, all we need is a way in, then we can get out through the gate."

The words made me freeze.

Asmodeus grabbed me.

I nodded, she let go of me and fell to the floor.
"Gabriel, would anyone here be able to come with me?"

"Understood. I'll find who killed her, and I'll turn them inside out."

With that, I was back in the beautiful garden where I saw some dead crying.
"What happened here? How did Quarinara die?"
"Lady Rose… it was a jail break. Lucifer appeared and somehow broke in. He freed numerous of the imprisoned…"
"Where is he now?"
"In the forbidden chamber, that way."
"Thank you."
I ran as fast as I could, ready for the most difficult fight of my life.
"LUCIFER!!!"
I opened the door and saw him talking with a giant. This behemoth was enveloped in pure evil. This was nothing like the evil I emanated as Innocence. It was pure and unfiltered. I froze in fear as the beast's eye shifted in my direction.
"Ah, Rose… you aren't supposed to be here."
"I'm here to stop you."
"Oh, how funny… you think you can best me?"
"Probably not, but~ I'll give you something to remember me by."
"Hah! How have you not figured out that I need you alive? You are the only one that can currently ascend, except for Gabriel, but he chose not to."
"Until I get the big blast I ain't nothing but a ticked off individual."
"Oh, you're angry for Quarinara. Well, she told me a lot about you. Like how she hates that you left her to guard everything alone."
I snorted. He raised a brow.
"Wow, you really think I'm gonna believe that. I'll tell you something. I didn't leave her, she stayed back of her own will, if you want to make me feel bad, you're gonna have to try a little harder than that."
His eyes narrowed.
"Well, what do you think, Grendel."
"This weakling is fun, her courage reminds me of the warrior that did me in."
"Indeed, it does."
"Lucifer… she is carrying a grace…"

"Heh, you noticed my supply in the inventory? Funny thing is that no one except me can access it."

I raised a brow but felt no lie.

He shook the grace bottle in his hands as my eyes widened.
"Lucifer, don't it won't work withou-"
"Without a blessing, I know that, but what if I blessed myself. Unlike the Ruler's edition, this one has no strings. Meaning, I just need to have enough will to survive."
I leapt, but Grendel bashed me into a wall.
Lucifer laughed.
"Bottoms up!"
He drank it eagerly, then it was like time froze. His eyes widened. Grendel froze...
I saw death face me…
Then everything exploded. Lucifer glowed red and his eyes shone with bloodred light.
His presence enveloped the world so deeply that I could barely see.
He began laughing, before he spoke.
[I have been returned to my full power. I am… SERAPHIM!!!]
Two extra pairs of wings appeared on his back, and his body spun. His horns shifted into a crown, and his clothing became pure white.
Grendel screamed as his soul became undone in the blinding light.
I myself barely held onto existence.
Then, what I feared, came to pass.
[The individual Lucifer has obtained the requirements. He can now ascend into the Realm of the Supreme beings. Do you wish for this to be so…]
[Yes… YES… YES!!! With this power, I can finally match the Ruler, and end him… Demons, I know you can here this. Our freedom is sooner than we thought, and now. We will win!!!]
[The Individual Lucifer is now a Supreme being…]
"HAHAHAHA!!!"
"I won't let you leave here."
I charged him, but he bashed me to the side like I was a piece of paper.
"Dear Rose. I grant you one last chance…"
I glared at him.
"Join me or die."
I spit in his face. He recoiled then glared at me.
"Fine."
Then I felt the full power of his aura, it was all directed onto me.
I screamed in agony as my body began tearing apart.
"No… NO"
Then, I glowed gold.

I pushed back Lucifer who looked at me in shock.
"Fine, then I'll just destroy everything!"
He struck the core of Eden, before freezing my actions.
"Goodbye, Rose Hood."
