Pulling radishes really isn't hard, but the key is that everyone can only pull one. The old men exchanged glances; their faces looked calm and collected, but their brains were waging an all-out war.
So they looked left, looked right, straining like a bunch of ostriches craning their necks in the vegetable field, yet after ages of searching, they still couldn't find the biggest one.
Secretary Xiaozu smirked and muttered, "Isn't this just like a bear picking corn? Always thinking the better ones are up ahead."
"Come on, hurry up." She urged, "Pull 'em now, and in an hour or so, we'll just have time for dinner… That sauce I mailed you guys earlier, doesn't it go great with rice?"
Slurp!
At the mention of this, everyone's mouths started watering instantly. At that moment, Lao Zhu bent over and reached out like a jackrabbit in motion:
"Whoosh!"
With one swift motion, he yanked out a radish.
Sibao bolted over silently, staring intently with a piercing gaze.
