With Sona in the lead, they looked around curiously as they approached.
Stopping next to Saji, Sona's violet eyes met Micael's dark brown ones as she greeted him. "Hello, I hope I'm not disturbing you?"
"No, you're not." Micael replied, looking vaguely at Sona and the girls near her.
"Okay, let me introduce you guys."
Saji said going to Micael's side, placing one hand on his shoulder and extending the other while smiling. "Kaichou, this is Micael, my best friend."
"Hello, nice to meet you." Said Micael, extending his hand.
"Nice to meet you." Sona responded by accepting the handshake.
When their hands separated, Saji continued to introduce them.
"Micael, this is Sona Sitri, the student council president or as I call her, Kaichou."
At his words, Sona nodded in acknowledgement as she crossed her arms, her hands resting on her elbows.
Saji gestured to the girl on Sona's left as he continued. "This is Tsubaki Shinra, vice president of the student council, or as I call her Fukukaichou."
The mentioned girl bowed slightly with her hands clasped together. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
After Micael greeted her, Saji gestured to the girl next to Tsubaki.
"She's Momo Hanakai, a fellow student council member, I call her Hanakai-chan."
The aforementioned girl also bowed slightly just like Tsubaki, a soft smile adorning her face. "Hello, nice to meet you."
"Hello, nice to meet you too."
Saji then pointed to the girl on Sona's right side. "She's Reya Kusaka, the treasurer of the student council, and I call her Kusaka-chan."
She bowed, her voice a soft tone. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you."
Saji then pointed to the bottlenose girl next to her. "She's Tomoe Meguri, the secretary of the student council, I call her Meguri-chan."
With a cheerful smile, the girl bowed. "Nice to meet you Micael-san!"
"Nice to meet you Meguri-san."
Saji then pointed to the girl next to her. "She's Tsubasa Yura, my other student council colleague, and I call her Yura-chan."
"Against my will." With a half-scowling look at Saji, she turned her attention to Micael as she bowed. "Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
Pointing at the last girl in the corner and ignoring Tsubasa's complaint, Saji continued. "And finally she is Ruruko Nimura, another fellow student council member and I call her Ruruko-chan."
The girl then waved happily as Saji pointed at her. "Yo! Nice to meet you Micael-san."
"Nice to meet you Nimura-san."
"And these are all the girls in the student council." Saji said with a proud smile, as if he was satisfied with something.
And looking at him from the side, Micael knew his smile was because he was happy to be surrounded by pretty girls.
Turning his gaze back to them, Micael looked at them vaguely, but this time paying attention to their general appearance.
From what he remembered, Sona had violet eyes and short black hair, bobbed with bangs, she had thin-rimmed glasses on her face, while at that moment she was wearing a tight black skirt down to her knees and a dark blue short-sleeved blouse with ruffles.
In Micael's impression, she looked like a teacher and he also had the feeling that she was trying to dress in a more adult way.
Tsubaki beside her was also as he remembered, long black hair with bangs parted in the middle, over her heterochromatic eyes, the left violet and the right brown, square half-framed glasses on her face.
She wore a long black skirt that went from her belly to her knees and a white long-sleeved blouse with buttons at the top.
Micael thinks it's beautiful, although he has no idea what the style is.
Focusing on the girl next to her, Micael finally saw someone he didn't remember at all.
The girl named Momo Hanakai had shoulder-length white hair with bangs, her eyes were blue-green, she looked a little shorter than Saji, and was wearing the school uniform.
The girl on the other side of Sona, named Reya Kusaka, had brown hair parted in two short braids that fell down her back, she obviously also had bangs along with a blue stripe in her hair, her eyes were brown and she wore the school uniform.
She was also the same height as the girl Momo, who MIcael speculated was one or two centimeters shorter than Saji.
Beside her, the girl Tomoe Meguri had shoulder-length reddish-brown hair tied in twintails, brown eyes, wore the school uniform and was a little shorter than the other two.
But the girl next to her caught Micael's attention because he had heard of her before, she had the "Bishounen" face as he had heard some girls say, basically an androgynous face.
And indeed, Micael could see that if she wore a masculine hairstyle along with appropriate clothes, she would look like a boy, in Japanese beauty terms, of course.
To Micael she would look like a girl regardless of the change in appearance, but he could understand why this girl was so popular with the female audience to the point of approaching Kiba's.
She had blue hair that reached her neck and was kind of messy, dark blue eyes and she also wore the school uniform.
Micael felt strong tomboyish instincts coming from her. How? Male intuition.
And finally the last girl next to Tsubasa, Ruruku Nimura, with brown hair tied in twin long ponytails, with two clips holding her hair in the front surprisingly without bangs.
She wore the school uniform with the notable difference that she wore long green striped thigh-high socks, and she was short, at most two or three centimeters taller than Koneko.
Micael noticed that the tallest ones there were him, Kiba and Rias, the three sharing the same height and with Tsubaki and Tsubasa being almost as tall as them.
After analyzing them with brief glances, Micael turned his focus to Rias. "Before we start training, I'm going to have a sparring session with this guy here, okay?" He said, pointing with his thumb at Saji beside him.
"It's fine." Rias replied with a smile.
Without wasting any time, Micael patted Saji as he headed towards the tatami area. "Let's go."
Saji followed him as he placed the bag he had with him on top of a bench, the Orc's and Student Council members following closely behind.
As they walked, Sona and Rias approached and greeted each other, with Sona speaking. "The two of you seem to be very close, don't you?"
Rias followed her gaze towards the two boys' backs. "Well, they don't consider themselves best friends for nothing." She replied smiling, the way the two greeted each other while cursing each other was funny and familiar to her, she even found it kind of cute.
"Hmm." Humming, Sona cast a silent, analytical look at them. "I wonder who between the two is stronger."
Rias gave him a sideways glance before looking away. She had complete trust in her boyfriend, but she didn't really know how strong Micael was, since in his training with Koneko he held back, she never saw him fight seriously.
There was also the fact that she didn't know Saji's strength, she wouldn't underestimate him, especially considering that he was Micael's friend, he should have learned something from him.
And Sona had a similar thought. In her case, she knew Saji's strength, but not Micael's; at the very least, she could expect quite a bit of proficiency in aster martial arts.
Not only because of the information Saji gave, but also because during her training sessions with Saji, he demonstrated to have adequate combat awareness as well as a vague knowledge of fighting techniques, in his words, "tricks" that he learned from Micael.
So, she was quite curious and interested to see how this fight would unfold.
And not just her, Rias and the members of both peerages around were curious to see this fight.
Returning to Saji and Micael, the two approached the middle of the tatami area as they both stretched, Rias, Sona and the others remained in the corner of the area.
With a few steps, the two then reached the middle and turned to face each other.
Saji twisted his neck as he jumped a few times and Micael just rotated his left shoulder until he said abruptly. "By the way, I have a girlfriend now."
Saji, who was cracking his hands, stopped, his mind, which was already entering the zone in preparation for the fight, failed.
"...What? What!?WHAT!?" Literally screaming at the end, Saji approached Micael in an instant to grab him by the shoulders. "Who!? Who is she!?"
As he was rocked back and forth, Micael calmly pointed to the side.
With his neck almost snapping due to the speed, Saji looked in the direction of the two peerage, spotting Rias, who raised her hand with a slight smile.
Upon seeing this, Saji's eyes widened as if they would pop out of their sockets and his mouth opened wide enough to fit a fist inside.
"This is impossible!!!" He screamed, looking like he had received the biggest shock of his life.
On the peerage side, some people's reactions to Saji's actions and words were mixed, in Sona's group, some seemed amused, while others seemed exasperated. Sona in question sighed while holding the bridge of her nose.
On Rias' side, they seemed mostly amused, with Koneko showing no reaction and Issei finding Saji to be weird, although he was crying internally at the injustice of the world.
Rias in question felt like she was watching a scene from a comedy manga in real life.
And with Mari in the corner, who was sitting on a bench further away from them, she just rolled her eyes at Saji's exaggerated behavior as she sat cross-legged and rested her head on her fist.
"How!? How did you do that!?" Saji exclaimed, turning his gaze to Micael.
"I don't know, it must have been my charm." Micael responded with a slight smile and a shrug.
"Hah!? Charm? From that ordinary face of yours with that usual boring expression, as expressive as a stone?" Saji's expression was as if he had heard the most absurd thing on the face of the Earth.
"Hahaha, yes, exactly." Micael didn't lose his smile as he replied simply.
"Sigh, this world must be really crazy..." Saji said as a hand left Micael's shoulder and went to his hair, pushing, his gaze seemed to wander. "Soon Micael, among all the possibilities, got a girlfriend, precisely the guy I thought would be alone for the rest of his life, because he was a misogynist, sexist, woman-hater who-"
"Ok ok, stop with this shit you bastard, are you going to congratulate me or not?"
Saji then smiled, his face calming down as he raised his hand. "Congratulations bro, may you and her be very happy together."
Micael returned the smile as he extended his hand. "Thanks bro."
Tap—!
With a loud pop reverberating, Micael and Saji did a dap while giving each other a half hug.
"Thank you too Saji, I appreciate your support."
When the two separated, Rias' words came as she smiled slightly at the two's interaction, to which Saji responded with a nod and a thumbs up. "Micael can be annoying sometimes, so be patient and take care of him."
"Hahaha, sure." Rias laughed lightly as she replied, she found their interaction quite cute, and she wasn't the only one, Sona beside her had an almost imperceptible smile, finding this friendly side of Saji quite cute.
Just as some members of both groups also smiled at the unexpectedly healthy interaction between the two.
Then, Saji and Micael, who were smiling calmly at each other, changed their expressions, their smiles widening as they narrowed their eyes.
"That's my bro! Hahahaha!"
"Hahaha!"
Tap—!
The two dapped again, but this time with more force as they slammed into each other, the meaning behind this behavior being clear.
"You actually managed to win over a girl of that level! Man, you have my respect! Hahaha!"
"What can I say? I'm built differently hahaha!"
And then these new actions and words from Micael and Saji caused the others to have opposite reactions than before.
Rias' smile became strange, Sona had a blank expression while Mari snorted and muttered, "Two idiots."
"No wonder they're best friends, they share the same brain cell." Tusubasa commented in a dry tone not far behind Sona.
"Hahaha~ They're quite funny~" Ruruku commented, the brown haired loli smiled amusedly, an amusement that was shared by the girls next to her.
"Fufufu~" Akeno laughed as she covered her mouth, her eyes narrowed in amusement.
Beside her, Kiba had a strange smile similar to Rias's, while Koneko narrowed her eyes muttering an inaudible "idiots", Issei in the corner seemed to be trying hard not to make a crying face due to the envy he felt.
With Micael and Saji, the two stopped hitting each other and doing daps, while Micael was about to tell them to get ready to start sparring, Saji pulled him closer with his hand on his shoulder and whispered close to his ear.
"Hey, since you brought it up, could you do me a favor and let me win? I just want to impress the girls."
Micael raised an eyebrow at these words. "I noticed you called that shorter girl by her first name. Have you managed to get close to the others yet or was it just her?"
Saji shook his head as he sighed. "It's just her, unfortunately my charm alone couldn't win over others."
"What's the problem?"
"Well, a simple flirtation with Sona and Tsubaki results in a severe punishment, Momo and Reya like Kiba, Tomoe likes younger boys, and you're more Tsubasa's type."
Micael looked over his shoulder at the aforementioned girls for a moment before returning to Saji. "And the loli with brown hair?"
Saji smiled confidently before replying. "She liked me from the moment she saw me."
"If she already likes you, why don't you go out with her?"
"Nah, she's pretty, but she's not really my type, I like them bigger, you know? Besides, agreeing to go out with her would ruin my plan to build a harem with the girls."
Micael looked at Saji, who was smiling meaningfully. He couldn't even judge Saji because he intended to do the same thing. "Good luck, and don't they know your intentions? I imagine it's obvious if you flirt with them constantly."
"Thank you, and yes, they already know, even though I didn't say it explicitly. Kaichou just said that as long as I don't overdo it and the girls don't see a problem with it, I can continue."
Saji then pointed at himself with his thumb and said arrogantly. "And if there's one thing I know and am good at, it's that being a boring guy can be ignored by a girl if you can make her laugh. You're the one who showed me that, by the way."
Micael ignored the fact that Saji called him annoying as he spoke. "Okay, to answer your initial question, I can't do that. If it were another time, I could, but not this time. I want to fight you seriously."
Saji made an almost pitiful expression as he complained. "Come on, man, can't you do me this favor? Help me gain prestige with the girls."
"It won't work, and you talk about your prestige, but what about my prestige with my girlfriend? If I lose to you in front of her, what will happen to me?"
Saji gave Micael a dry look. "You don't even care about those things, besides, she's already your girlfriend, you don't need to impress her to try to win her over."
Micael nodded with a look of agreement. "You have a point, but it's still a no."
"Sigh, okay, looks like I'll have to beat you anyway."
Seeing Saji's look of resignation, Micael raised an eyebrow. "If you think you can do it, feel free to try."
"Don't worry, I have a pleasant surprise for you." Saji said with a mischievous smile, releasing his arm from his shoulder and walking away.
Micael just kept his gaze fixed and eyebrow raised at Saji as he walked away, then he shook his head slightly as he said. "Alright, let's get started."
Micael's words immediately excited the audience from both groups watching, increasing their attention to the fight that was finally about to begin.
While Saji, a few steps away from Micael, smiled mischievously and cracked his fingers, Micael raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Snap—
With that sound, a transparent blue barrier appeared in front of the others in the corner of the area before disappearing, blocking the entrance and exit, its purpose clear.
However, out of nowhere, a sound began to emerge, the rhythm of which was clearly that of music.
Hearing that sound, Saji's mischievous smile immediately disappeared as he stopped cracking his fingers. "Hell no."
Meanwhile, with the air vibrating vaguely around him, a beat seemed to literally come out of Micael as he shook his head lightly.
Outside, Mari covered her face with her hand as she muttered. "You never change, do you, Micael?"
The others looked confused by the music that came out of nowhere, they were still trying to understand what was happening.
Meanwhile, Micael slightly raised his hand, pointed at Saji, and sang.
"Micael Todo do primeiro ano, farei uma pergunta e dependendo da resposta, posso te matar~"
("Micael Todo from the first year, I'm going to ask you a question, and depending on the answer, I can kill you~")
"Ah! Come on Micael, didn't you say it was a serious fight? Stop this shit!" Saji exclaimed, looking indignant.
But Micael just shook his head while smiling slightly, his hands went to the base of his shirt starting to take it off while he continued to sing in rhythm to the beat.
"Genshirou Saji! Qual tipo de mulher voce gosta~!?"
("Genshirou Saji! What kind of women do you like~!?")
The sound then stopped abruptly as Micael threw the shirt over Saji, his hand then pointing at him as if waiting for the answer.
But Saji didn't react to anything, his gaze was expressionless. "Are you serious, Micael? And why the hell did you take off your shirt!?"
"I always train shirtless and yes, I'm serious, answer the question."
Outside, a strange silence reigned in the face of this entire series of events, Rias had an incredulous look as she watched Micael act that way, she simply didn't know what to say.
Sona beside her had a similar expression as she also felt disbelief and unfortunately, felt a certain familiarity with this type of behavior as well.
"Rias, your boyfriend is really..."unique." That's what Sona said as she regained some of her calm, lifting her glasses as she emphasized her final word.
Coming out of her stupor, Rias could only weakly respond. "He's really...something."
And the other people close to the two had similar reactions, they just seemed too surprised or shocked to show any other reaction or words.
"That's because you ain't seen nothing yet."
These words made Sona and Rias, along with a few others, look in Mari's direction, the girl resting her head on her fist and with an expression of tired exasperation.
Her words implied that it wasn't the first time and that she was already used to it.
When they turned their attention to Micael and Saji, the former was still waiting for the answer.
"I'm not going to answer that. If you want to go through this embarrassment, go through it alone."
"You know it's better to just go with the flow, come on."
Saji narrowed his eyes as he cursed Micael loudly inwardly. "You already know the answer."
Still smiling and with his finger pointing at him, Micael shook his head. "Say it out loud."
Saji looked at him silently for a moment before sighing tiredly, his gaze becoming expressionless as he replied in a blank tone. "I like girls with strong personalities."
"I see..." Saying this, Micael lowered his hand, raised his head, and closed his eyes. Then, tears fell weakly from his eyes as he resumed the song and the beat returned.
"Pessima resposta!"
("Bad answer!")
"What? What the hell is this-"
But before Saji could finish his sentence, a clapping sound rang out.
Clap—!
