Ash checked his new pokemon stats and amazed at its level but deep down he felt down and misses cynthia.

Ash, Misty, Sabrina, and Brock walked up the familiar cobblestone path leading to the Cerulean City Gym, the sun dipping low behind them. Pikachu bounded ahead, nose twitching at the scent of fresh water. Eevee trotted beside Ash, her tail flicking with curiosity, while Sabrina cradled Togepi, who chirped happily in her arms.

Brock grinned, carrying a picnic bag in one hand and adjusting his coat. "Cerulean City—home of the legendary Waterflower Sisters! It's good to be back."

Ash smirked. "Yeah, and home of Misty's famous temper."

Misty rolled her eyes. "Keep talking, Ketchum. You'll be swimming with the Magikarp."

The gym doors were wide open, a banner fluttering overhead:"One Night Only – The Prince and the Sea Sisters! Presented by the Cerulean Theater Guild"

Ash squinted. "Wait, what?"

Inside, the lobby was transformed into a backstage mess—feathers, ribbons, wigs, and glitter everywhere. A chorus of girly laughter echoed through the hallway.

And then—

"DAISY! VIOLET! LILY!!!"

Misty's voice exploded like a Hydro Pump as she stormed into the gym, hands clenched, fury blazing in her eyes.

Three glamorous women twirled around, all mid-costume.

Daisy, flipping her blonde curls, smiled sheepishly. "Oh-em-gee, Misty! You're like, finally here! You're gonna totally save the show!"

Violet, in a mermaid tail, clapped. "And you brought Ash and Brock too? Perfect!"

Lily winked at Ash. "The Prince costume will fit him perfectly~"

Misty's face turned red, steam practically shooting from her ears.

"You dragged me home for a play? You turned our GYM into a stage?! This is supposed to be a place of BATTLES, not ballet!"

Daisy pouted. "It's cultural week, sis! We had to sign up or lose city funding."

Violet added with a shrug, "And we couldn't find a male lead, so we kinda told everyone you'd bring Ash."

Ash blinked. "Wait, what now?"

Misty groaned. "This is so embarrassing…"

Brock chuckled. "Well, looks like we've been cast, like it or not."

Sabrina smiled gently, gently rocking Togepi in her arms. "This could be… fun."

Misty glared at her sisters. "I swear, if this ruins our gym's reputation—"

Lily interrupted, tossing Misty a shimmering sea-blue costume. "Oh, relax! You'll be the star! Everyone loves the Sea Sisters—especially the fiery one!"

Scene: Dressing Room – Later That Evening

Ash stood awkwardly in a princely cape, admiring himself in the mirror.

"This is so weird," he muttered. "Why do I always get roped into this stuff?"

Pikachu sat nearby wearing a mini crown. "Pika pi~!"

suddenly ash got a system mission which made him sweat drop

Brock entered wearing what looked like an overly dramatic sailor's outfit. "They made me the Sea Captain Narrator. I guess I'm the voice of reason or something."

Misty emerged in her costume—an elegant water-draped dress that shimmered with crystal blue scales. Sabrina followed, more reserved in a silvery gown adorned with crescent moons. Togepi clapped its tiny hands happily between them.

Ash looked up and blinked. "Whoa… you both look…"

"Say it and die," Misty warned, cheeks flushed.

Ash grinned. "Awesome."

Sabrina arched an eyebrow. "Charming."

The crowd packed the bleachers outside, the gym transformed into a glowing marine stage. Spotlights danced across bubbling holograms created by Alakazam and Zoroark, while Misty's Gyarados floated in a glass tank behind them, growling on cue.

Brock stepped onto the stage, clearing his throat. "Once upon a tide, in the realm between dream and destiny… a prince fell from the sky…"

The play unfolded: Ash, as the lost prince, washed ashore after a cosmic storm (Zoroark created the illusion of Dialga's time rift), and the three Sea Sisters saved him. Sabrina's lines were haunting and ethereal. Misty's performance, though filled with her usual bluster, carried real emotion—especially during the scene where she sang beside Ash under a conjured moonlight.

Misty (singing):"Though tides may pull and fates may bend,Our hearts remember how it ends…"

Ash, surprising even himself, sang the response—his voice rough but sincere:

Ash (singing):"Across the stars, through time I flew,And in the waves… I found you."

The crowd loved it. Children cheered. Older trainers wiped tears.

When Ash held out the pearl-crafted pendant in the final act—the "token of the soulbound flame"—and Misty clasped it to her heart, Sabrina stepped forward, her voice calm and full of finality.

Sabrina: "Love remembers what time forgets."

The group gathered on the rooftop under a moonlit sky. Ash leaned back, arms behind his head, while Pikachu snoozed in his lap. Misty sat beside him, her hand brushing close to his, but not quite touching.

"You weren't so bad back there, 'Your Highness,'" she teased softly.

Ash chuckled. "You weren't so scary yourself, Sea Sister."

Sabrina stood at the edge, Togepi asleep in her arms, watching the stars. "The energy from your performance… it resonated with something deep. Maybe even a memory."

Brock laid out a small feast—sandwiches, soda, and rice balls. "Well, if we're done being actors, how about being adventurers again?"

Ash nodded, pulling the Mystic Water closer. "Yeah… but I'll never forget tonight."

Misty smirked. "Neither will the entire audience."

And somewhere far away, in the Sinnoh skies above Mount Coronet, a green pendant pulsed once more.
