Seeing the corpses lying before him, Kurozumi Orochi's face twisted with disgust. His sister clapped her hands, signaling several servants waiting outside to enter.

The servants, dressed in plain white clothing, stepped in immediately. Orochi pointed at the bodies on the floor, and the servants understood without needing further instruction.

Scenes like this were common in Kurozumi Orochi's household. These servants were tasked specifically with disposing of bodies, and they were long accustomed to the gruesome work.

They dragged the still-warm corpses, which had just met their end here, out of the house. Once outside, the bodies were quickly thrown into the river, ensuring no one would discover what had happened.

Afterward, the servants returned quietly and scrubbed the floor clean as if nothing had occurred. Just moments ago, lives had been taken, but now it was as though those lives had never existed.

No one dared to question such actions. After all, with Kurozumi Orochi's power and influence, even if someone knew the truth, what could they do? Speaking out was simply not an option.

Meanwhile, Arthur, who had been wandering through Wano Country, was captivated by its unique scenery. Along the way, he purchased a few small items and found himself unexpectedly entertained by the sights.

Eventually, Arthur arrived at Kurozumi Orochi's residence. As he stood before the grand and towering buildings, he couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh.

"Feasts and luxury within gilded walls, yet frozen bones lie along the roadsides," he murmured to himself.

Arthur hadn't expected Orochi's residence to be so opulent. In stark contrast, the surrounding villages were desperately poor, with people struggling to afford even a meal.

"This truly is the harsh reality of Wano," he said quietly, his thoughts heavy with the disparity he had witnessed.

Sadly, Orochi has no concern for the villagers' well-being.

"If that's the case, then only the Kozuki Clan can restore hope to this land. What Luffy and his crew are doing is truly meaningful," Arthur thought to himself with a heavy heart.

Though Arthur's expression and murmurs seemed odd to those nearby, they paid him no attention and continued about their business.

Arthur then approached the entrance of Orochi's grand residence, intending to walk in. However, the guards stationed at the door quickly blocked his path.

"Stop right there! Who are you? Do you even know who lives here? Get out of here!" one of the guards barked.

Without waiting for Arthur to explain, the soldiers began trying to shove him away. But their dismissive tone ignited Arthur's anger. Fixing his sharp gaze on them, he responded firmly.

"I'm here to meet your boss—Kurozumi Orochi, isn't it? Yes, I came to see him. Call him out! I want to see what kind of power this Orochi really has."

The soldiers were taken aback by Arthur's words. They thought he must be out of his mind. After all, it was unheard of for anyone in Wano to speak Kurozumi Orochi's name so casually.

But then again, something about Arthur made them hesitate. Could he be someone important? Perhaps even a formidable individual? However, their doubts grew when they considered his words.

If Arthur were a friend of Orochi, why would he speak as though challenging him?

"Who are you, and why do you want to meet our lord?" one of the soldiers asked cautiously, unable to determine Arthur's identity and wary of making any rash moves.
