Raki Orochi had died unexpectedly.

When Kaido heard the news, his eyes widened in shock and disbelief. He couldn't imagine that such a strong and trusted man would be killed.

Kaido found it hard to accept. What exactly happened? He felt uneasy about the situation since he had never faced anything like this before.

Raki Orochi was someone Kaido trusted deeply. Orochi had been in charge of managing the country without ever making mistakes. Now, with this sudden turn of events, Kaido was caught completely off guard.

Kaido, who had always seen himself as invincible and unstoppable, was now faced with a situation he couldn't easily control.

Furious, he slammed the table and roared, "What happened? Who killed Raki Orochi?"

The impact of his anger caused the hill beneath him to tremble and crumble. Nobody dared to speak, but one of his subordinates, trembling with fear, finally said it was an unknown person.

This person, they explained, used the power of thunder and lightning.

When Kaido heard this, his expression darkened. Narrowing his eyes, he seemed to realize something.

Pacing back and forth in the small space, Kaido muttered to himself, deep in thought.

"If we're talking about the power of thunder, it's not something common in the New World—or even the entire Grand Line," Kaido said to himself.

"However, there are rumors of people who can wield the power of thunder, especially in the sky. I've heard about a so-called 'god' on an island who controls lightning, but I don't know if that god has made it to this continent."

Hearing Kaido's musings, the men nearby stayed silent, too afraid to speak. They knew Kaido's wrath would be unforgiving if they said something wrong.

Kaido frowned deeply. He couldn't just ignore the situation. If Arthur was allowed to stay here, the balance of the New World could be completely overturned. The New World already had enough chaos with people like Luffy causing trouble. Adding Arthur into the mix only made things worse.

Arthur's power—thunder—wasn't ordinary. It was something that felt almost divine, as if it had been granted to him by the heavens themselves.

If Arthur continued to rise unchecked, it would pose a serious threat to the Four Emperors. Yet, taking him down wouldn't be easy—it would demand a great deal of energy and resources.

After much thought, Kaido decided that the best course of action was to unite with the other Four Emperors to deal with Arthur together.

"If I were to fight Arthur alone, I wouldn't lose," Kaido muttered, "but it would leave me vulnerable. If Big Mom attacked while I was at my weakest, the Four Emperors would be reduced to the Three Emperors."

Kaido wasn't about to take such a risk. To him, relying on the cooperation of the other emperors was a more realistic plan. Anything else would simply be a foolish dream.
