Walking down the staircase, Saiyakula entered the hollow beneath the small town.
The surroundings were pitch-black. The black walls were mottled, the air filled with a damp chill. The research facility was void of any people, dreadfully silent.
Following the markers carved into the walls, Saiyakula silently arrived before a massive gate made of metal. The words "High Risk" were painted in red on the door.
Although they didn't understand the Slavic language, they could vaguely guess the meaning of the red text.
With a slight motion of their finger in mid-air, the metal gate's locks began to spin wildly. This was the oldest and most robust mechanical lock—unlocking it required specific techniques; simply having the key was insufficient.
But all of this appeared rather fragile in Saiyakula's presence.
