Whatever Damon had imagined the gathering to be, he hadn't expected it to be this.
Rather than a secret garden the scene looked as if he had walked into one of the networking parties being held by his employers to meet and greet clients and stakeholders.
The room was a nicely decorated saloon, with comfortable sofas, different sized tables and a bar counter. There was even a barman making cocktails, occasionally flirting with some of the women.
As soon as Sol walked in, he was received by what looked like a maitre d.
"Welcome, you have skipped some of our gatherings lately. Many of our friends were missing their beloved notary," he smiled, whilst shaking Sol's hand politely.
"Just been busy," replied Sol, similarly polite. "Ah, Dion, would you give entry to my young friend here? I will vouch for him of course."
Damon stepped forward. Sol had notified him that there might be security checks to ensure no unwanted guests turned up.
