Chapter 30 - DAY 3 - 2ND WAVE OF DOOM: DISASTERS

Lars rises slowly from the rubble of the broken building. Dust rolls off his shoulders as he brushes away debris and cracks his neck.

"At least these people… put up more of a fight than the others I've killed," he mutters, dark amusement in his voice.

With a flex of his arms, he summons his purple magical gauntlets. They hiss with vaporous purple smoke, glowing with a deadly aura that radiates outward like a heatwave.

He glances up as if speaking to someone only he can hear.

"Father is probably already disappointed. I won't hold back anymore… I'll do what he wants—before his patience runs dry."

Meanwhile, Prekayda rallies the surviving village warriors around her, voice sharp with purpose.

"Alpha Crank, we're joining this fight—honor or not. It's our duty to protect this village. You're facing a Chosen… you'll need all the help you can get!"

Crank pauses, then nods without resistance.

"Okay, if you say so."

Jen facepalms.

"That was way too easy to convince him…"

Suddenly, Lars steps out of the destroyed building, a monstrous force now fully awakened. His aura distorts the air around him. With a single swing of his arm, he unleashes a massive explosion from the force of his punch, leveling several nearby houses and vaporizing a group of charging warriors.

Prekayda hits the ground, blood dripping from a gash on her forehead. She groans, wiping it aside and shouting:

"Witches—get in formation!"

The witches forms a large ritual circle around the battlefield, their hands glowing with runes as they begin chanting in unison.

The remaining warriors charge. But Lars, now in full power, becomes a blur of destruction. He smashes through them like paper, his enchanted gauntlets flaring with magic. Bodies fall. Sparks explode with every impact.

Jen struggles to her feet, heart pounding.

"Lars… he's a monster. There's no way we can win this without Boa's help!"

Across the battlefield, Lars grabs the griffin by the neck, lifting the majestic beast effortlessly before slamming it to the ground with brutal force.

The chimera roars and leaps, fangs and claws ready—but Lars catches it mid-air in a savage grapple, then hurls the creature into the remains of a burning house.

From the side, the centaur looses a glowing arrow. It whistles through the smoke, aimed perfectly at Lars. He swings his fist to deflect it—but misses.

The arrow strikes his chest. A controlled explosion rattles his core. Lars staggers back, shaking his head.

His vision blurs. Two versions of every warrior now appear before him.

"Damn witches…" he growls. "Their spell… it's distorting my vision. I'll deal with them first!"

He lunges, throwing a punch at one of the witches—but misses completely. His perception is broken.

The warriors attack again. Their blows barely pierce his enchanted body, causing only flashes of sparks. Still, they persist.

Crank charges in, roaring. He lands a heavy punch that slams Lars into the dirt.

And then—everyone attacks at once. Warriors, witches, animals of the old pack—Crank, Jen, the griffin, the chimera—they strike together, wave after wave of steel, magic, and fury.

Lars roars in pain as one strike finally breaks through. His chest begins to bleed.

But then—he lets loose a devastating scream, and his entire body erupts in a violent shockwave of dark magic.

The blast is catastrophic.

Warriors are vaporized in an instant.

The centaur collapses—lifeless.

The griffin and chimera are launched into the burning fields.

Crank and Jen crash hard across the scorched earth, smoke trailing behind them as the fires of the battlefield continue to rage.

Lars wipes the blood from his lip, his eyes wild.

"If I can't hit you with my fists…" he growls, raising both arms,

"…then I'll just use area of effect attacks!"

**He slams his fists forward—again and again—**each blow igniting violent shockwaves that ripple through the village like quakes of magic fire.

Explosions tear through the land. Homes crumble. Fire bursts from the ground. Villagers scream—many are caught in the blasts and vanish in the infernos. Witches scatter, their circle shattered by the relentless destruction.

Prekayda leaps to dodge an incoming blast, but it clips her leg mid-air. She crashes to the ground, coughing in the smoke, eyes wide with terror.

Through the rising fire and smoke, Lars steps forward, breathing hard but smiling, his vision now sharpened—fully restored.

He laughs, twisted and breathless.

"I wonder…"

He tilts his head, cracking his neck,

"…how many points I've already got!"

Meanwhile, in God's Arena, He laughs as his giant avatar floats in the air. Numerous giant digital screens display views of Doom Planet, along with various stats. God's voice booms, reaching the nearby spaceships watching from afar.

"After Wave 1, there have already been 2.7 billion deaths!" he announces.

One of the digital screens shows the death count of fallen Stars in the Star Games. God continues, "Wave 2 will take place. Prepare for a force of disasters that will doom this planet!"

With that, God disappears.

On a nearby spaceship, Zion watches a screen showing his son Lars's fight. His gaze hardens as he says, "Son, the tougher battles are coming. You must be strong and make me proud!"

On another spaceship, Terra watches a digital screen displaying Gaia working diligently in a digital world alongside Taeo and Gilga. She smiles and says, "You're doing great, Gaia! Show all the Stars that your brain is beyond theirs!"

Meanwhile, God's massive form appears in space, looming much larger than Doom Planet itself. The sun shines its light onto the planet as God speaks aloud, "Day 3 has arrived. The second wave approaches. Which Stars are the strongest to survive this wave of doom?"

He claps his hands, and they glow with brilliant colors. Between His hands, five magic eggs form, and he launches them towards the planets, watching as they crash through the atmosphere like meteors.

On the Eastern Islands, Lars pauses his fight, gazing down at Crank's beaten body. As he then looks up, he notices that it is already morning. He spots five giant meteors splitting off in different directions toward various parts of the world.

Then, a cyan meteor races toward him. It grows larger and closer, and with a massive explosion, a Cyan Power Dragon emerges from the blast. The dragon crashes down onto the village. Lars laughs in excitement.

"The second wave of doom is actual dragons of disaster!" he shouts.

The power dragon roars, and Lars charges in, preparing to land the most powerful punch he's ever thrown. With all his strength, he launches the punch, firing a powerful blast of energy at the dragon. The attack destroys a quarter of the giant island and many other nearby islands.

Lars falls to one knee, huffing and puffing as he grips his side. "I tend to overdo it when I get excited," he mutters, a slight grin on his face. "I've always wanted to face a dragon."

Through the settling dust, he sees the Power Dragon flapping its massive wings, clearing the smoke around its body. It has survived his most powerful attack. Its glowing scales radiate energy as it opens its jaws and fires a colossal beam of power. The blast tears through another quarter of the giant island, obliterating more land and nearby islands in a blinding flash.

Lars is caught in the wave of energy. The force lifts him into the air, hurling him across the sky. He rockets northward, helpless against the blast's momentum. Finally, the beam crashes into a snow-covered region, triggering a massive explosion. In the aftermath, Lars lies in the center of a smoking crater, coughing up blood. He groans, his body trembling, a pool of blood forming beneath him as the freezing blizzard howls across the open ice.

Back on the eastern island, Jen struggles through the water, barely able to swim. She finally pulls herself above the surface and gasps for air. Her eyes widen in horror at the sight before her—what remains of the island is scattered across the ocean. Debris floats all around: shattered buildings, splintered wood, and the bodies of fallen villagers drifting silently.

Then she hears it—a deep, echoing roar. Jen turns to see the Power Dragon rise into the sky, flapping its wings with fury as it soars toward the direction Lars was blasted.

Nearby, she spots Crank's body floating in the water. Gritting her teeth, she swims toward him and begins dragging him to the remaining half of the island. Prekayda rushes over and helps her pull Crank ashore.

Standing on the battered coastline, Prekayda stares at the destruction in stunned silence. "This... this was much more than I thought it would be," she says shakily. "Are we really doomed?"

As they look up, the souls of villagers and animals begin to rise from their lifeless bodies. The glowing spirits float upward, shimmering in the morning light, then all at once rush toward Boa's building in the distance. One by one, they enter his chest in streams of light.

Meanwhile, in the southern region of the planet, a red meteor streaks through the sky before erupting in a fiery explosion. From the blast emerges a Blaze Dragon, wreathed in intense flame. It crashes directly into a volcano, instantly incinerating many Stars and villagers with red markings who live on the volcanic island.

Among the chaos stands Ignis, chosen protector of his people. His body glows with a fierce fire aura as he steps forward, ready to face the monstrous Blaze Dragon.

On the western side of the ruined lands, a battleship arrives. Kayle, Tomi, and the rest of her team disembark, eyes widening as they witness a massive green meteor descending from the sky. It explodes in a shower of emerald light, unleashing a monstrous Bio Dragon that roars and begins tearing through the landscape in the center of the ruined lands. The beast charges at the Star players already on the ground, ravaging them with its overwhelming power.

"The second wave of doom... are dragons?!" Kayle exclaims, drawing her weapon.

"Before we rush in, we must form a plan to slay it!" Tomi warns.

Suddenly, the ground trembles violently. In the distance, a towering aura radiates from the Bio Dragon as it channels powerful magic. The land shatters, earthquakes ripping the terrain apart and claiming the lives of countless Stars. Kayle and her team dive for cover, struggling to survive the seismic assault.

Then, another meteor descends—this one streaking toward the eastern sky. It detonates near a floating village suspended above the ruined lands. From the blast emerges a Storm Dragon, bringing with it violent tornadoes and jagged bolts of lightning. The floating village quakes under the force of the storm.

On the edge of the floating village stands Nox, his long cloak whipping in the wind. With a quick gesture, he manipulates the surrounding dirt, raising it into a shield against the destructive gales. Behind him, an army of golems assembles, their eyes glowing with potent magic.

Nox adjusts his black crown, raising his hand and pointing toward the airborne Storm Dragon. "Attack," he commands.

In unison, hundreds of golems leap into the air. Jets of magical energy blast from their backs like thrusters, launching them straight toward the Storm Dragon in a synchronized assault.

North in the ruined lands within the Vel Temple on the far side of the ruined land, Vel and her Star team struggle to remain on their feet amid the quaking earth. Stone pillars collapse, and the walls tremble as the temple threatens to come apart.

"Two dragons at once... this is bad!" Vel shouts, bracing herself against a crumbling column.

Back on the western shore, Tomi watches the Bio dragon with narrowed eyes. "It's like this dragon is attracted to us Stars on this land," he says grimly.

Kayle nods, still scanning the skies. "And the other one... it's drawn to Nox and his people in the sky."

Meanwhile, on the western side of the planet, near the gates of Taeo City, Rose, Ortis, Yuri, and Hopper witness a golden meteor streak across the sky before exploding in a blinding flash. From the heart of the explosion, a massive Robotic Dragon emerges, its metal body gleaming in the sunlight. It attempts to land on the city—but is stopped by a giant energy dome that activates just in time.

The Robotic Dragon roars in frustration and unleashes hundreds of energy blasts from the cannons on its wings, hammering the dome relentlessly. The barrier holds—barely.

Suddenly, from the main building at the heart of Taeo City, a towering mecha launches into the air, passing through a hatch in the dome. As it ascends, several sleek drones detach from its back, fanning out in perfect formation. The mecha raises its arms, and together with the drones, fires powerful lasers toward the Robotic Dragon.

A voice echoes from the mecha.

"Taeo and Gaia are still busy building our grand plan," Gilga announces, "so it's my time to step in and take down this dragon myself!"

Gilga's mecha and the Robotic Dragon clash high in the sky, exchanging a barrage of lasers that explode across the clouds like fireworks of war.

Down below at the city gates, Yuri speaks into his communicator.

"This is the moment we fight doom together, people of Taeo City!"

His words echo through the comms as soldiers stationed at all four corners of the city begin activating colossal machines. The guards pour resources and power into the cores, and the machines respond, charging massive cannons. In perfect sync, they fire four concentrated lasers through the dome, slamming into the Robotic Dragon mid-air—providing crucial support for Gilga.

Meanwhile, Ortis, Rose, and Hopper coordinate the evacuation, guiding citizens to safety into reinforced bunkers. Ortis glances upward—just in time to see Gilga's mecha crash through the dome, spiraling down and smashing into the building beside them.

The Robotic Dragon, despite taking heavy damage, resists the attacks. With a thunderous roar, it fires a concentrated beam from its mouth, blasting a massive hole into the top of the dome. Its massive head pushes through and unleashes a wave of blue flames, creating dozens of cascading blue explosions throughout the city—incinerating buildings, Stars, and civilians in its path.

"This second wave of doom is too much for us to handle!" Ortis yells, shielding his eyes from the blast.

"Don't worry," Hopper shouts back. "Gilga isn't alone in this fight! Lady Gaia will eventually come and help out!"

Suddenly, the hole in the dome begins to close—constricting around the dragon's neck. The Robotic Dragon roars in agony. At that moment, another mecha bursts from the main building, ascending into the sky.

From the new mecha, Gaia's voice rings out.

"Well, Gilga was overestimating himself. Looks like I do have to step in. Taeo can handle the rest of the hard work in building the grand plan."

Gilga's mecha pulls up beside her.

"I may have overcalculated," he admits. "Readjusting analyses based on the power this dragon's displayed... Together, we have a 41% chance of slaying it. But our odds might drop—it probably hasn't even shown us everything yet."

Gaia responds firmly.

"I've got people depending on me, so I brought out everything!"

From the main building behind her, 100,000 drones pour into the sky, forming an enormous swarm of light and metal.

Gilga's eyes widen inside his mecha.

"Impressive... I didn't think you could operate that many at once."

The swarm of drones charges forward, joining the two mechas in a final push. They blast the Robotic Dragon, knocking it completely out of the dome's boundary. The mechanical monster hovers now, staring down the two mechas and their massive drone army—its systems whirring with rage as the true battle begins.
